Judged: 4 4 4 Seems like you like to protect yourself with anu junk product (VACCINES) out there. Be our guess, enjoy your immunization and say hello to autism. |

Judged: 4 4 2 I'm sorry, but while some cases exist of children becoming autistic after a vaccine, not all cases are a result of vaccines. It happens, yes, but not all the time, not every time. In my sons case, while I was expecting him, I was a teacher at a Christian school where they had an outbreak of a measles like illness. I caught it when I was 2.5 months pregnant. I nearly lost him, but by a miracle, he made it. I was told by some midwives that I was making a mountain out of a mole hill, I had nothing to worry about. Others said I had every right to worry, that he might have a developmental delay as a result of my having this illness while pregnant. The thing is, there is no immunization for that particular form of measles. Most kids get it once, get over it quick and easy, and then are immune to it. So if you don't get it as a kid, you will get it as an adult. And that is not so to get over because it lasts longer for adults and you get arthritis like pain throughout your body. And if you are pregnant, you run a risk of miscarriage, or the baby dying in utero because of fluid around developing organs. And if the baby survives, then you face raising a child with developmental delays. As I have said on other autism topics, autism has more then one cause, more then one reason. The word SPECTRUM is am apt description. On so many levels. |

Judged: 3 3 1 No, dear, that is my experience. The rest is logical conclusion after discussing matters with doctors and other parents of autistic children. Add to that extensive reading of books, magazine articles, newspaper articles, and reports. My opinion is that you are self-righteous, egotistical, and opinionated. But I digress. |

Judged: 3 3 3 You are so blinded with your own hate of pharmasuticles that you refuse to consider any other possibility for a cause of autism. And you labor under the impression that anyone who does not agree with you 100% with everything you say is dead wrong. You don't even stop to think what others are trying to say. I refuse to believe anyone who says that there is only one cause of autism. That is impossible and unrealistic. Take care of your child, work with your child, help your child reach a level of independence. Make sure you have a way you can provide for child even after you are gone. But don't think you are the only one with a valid idea. My ideas and thoughts are just as valid and worthy as yours. |

Judged: 3 3 3 Any doctor who ever questionned vaccines like Wakefield lost their liscence. He was not the only one... he was also not a general doctor but a specialist of GI disorders. They have generated a fear within their own physiciens that have to follwo the shepherd otherwise they are lost and lonely. Well with that kind of approach you better believe that FBOMBER does not trust this pharmaceutical industry. If you trust them then go ahead vaccinate double shots, you be better protected, so it is said |

Judged: 3 3 2 I wonder if DR Poul Thorsen will be treated the same way Wakefield was? Or if you forge documents and steal two million dollars is O.K. as long as the study you are working on says that there is no connection between Autism and vaccines. Where is Brian Deer and the rest of the mainstream media now? Have a nice night |

Judged: 3 3 3 . even Martin Luther, creater of the Lutheran religion saw one time a severely autistic boy. he recommended killing the kid off. since to him, the kid was demon possessed. . the autism spectrum ranges from the most severe cases. all the way up to the high functioning forms like aspergers. . I've had to learn about it. since my kid has it. and she inherited my form of it = aspergers. . mine comes from my mom's side of the family. . and talking to the various medical professionals. most hold to the genetic as a very strong component of autism. |

Judged: 4 4 4 I'll add that the Vaccine court experts stated that "vaccines caused the conditions that caused autism" in at least one case. So anyone who wants to state vaccines cause autism is wrong..sort of, but not entirely. |

Judged: 3 3 2 "In at least one case"? Really? Fascinating. So the greatest genetic study is...what? In other words, the question of the cause of autism is still unanswered. |

Yes, and if pressed, medical professionals will admit that the cause of autism is unknown. They are playing a guessing game. All the possibilities hold water, but not consistently. |

actually they have been finding out more about the genetics surrounding autism. the thing below is the most recent http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/04/... ScienceDaily (Apr. 8, 2011)— Researchers from the CHUM Research Centre (CRCHUM) have identified a new gene that predisposes people to both autism and epilepsy "The results show for the first time the role of the SYN1 gene in autism, in addition to epilepsy, and strengthen the hypothesis that a deregulation of the function of synapse because of this mutation is the cause of both diseases," notes Cossette, who is also a professor with the Faculty of Medicine at the Université de Montréal. . . the next one, abeitly a bit older. is from Time: The newly discovered autism-risk gene, identified by authors as CACNA1G, is more common in boys than in girls (why that's so is still not clear), and the authors suggest it plays a role in boys' increased risk of the developmental disorder. CACNA1G, which sits on chromosome 17, amid other genes that have been previously linked to autism, is responsible for regulating the flow of calcium into and out of cells. |
