ISD191 paid their HR manager $254,814 payment to leave her job. Even thought they are required by law to explain any payment over $10,000 they refuse.

Probably a clause in the contract. The public will never penetrate that shield. I hope an anonymous insider sheds some light on it.

Remember when you vote on those referendums, it's for the kids.

A quarter of a million dollars of tax money - and ISD 191 is closed mouth.

If I had a kid in the Busrnsville school system, today would be the last day he or she would attend any school in that district.

I am not sure sure the union has anything to do with this.

I believe once you reach this level, the position would not be held by a union member. Any one know this for a fact?

Have an arrest warrent issued for these lowlife public servants, if they wont release the info we can only assume its a theft by swindle of tax payer money until proven differently

I would have to agree on that. I think HR would qualify as management. When was it decided in America that if you demand a huge parachute clause you must be top of the line so hey, let's go ahead and set up the parachute clause in the contract.

I blame the cost trends for admins on the school boards.

Tell me, which law dictates that private information needs to be shared with the press?

Under the Minnesota Data Practices Act, the terms of an agreement settling a public employment dispute "must include specific reasons for the agreement if it involves the payment of more than $10,000 in public money."

I should also say that public contracts and payments are not private information.

I blame the school boards and the corporate boards of directors for being stupid enough to allow contracts that do not allow for firing the incompetent without having to pay them off.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Gemini

It's a red letter day for relationships under the Lunar Eclipse in your house of significant others, because you're facing some important and far-reaching changes to some of them. The pressure has been building since the Gemini Solar Eclipse on May 20. f you've known for some time that things aren't working out, you're about to reach a crisis point as becomes obvious that the present situation can't continue much longer. The coming New Moon in Gemini on June 19 will see progress of one kind or another, though this unusual eclipse cycle will have a far-reaching effect. You may have to be cruel to be kind, or more forceful than you would like, in order to get your point across, but do you really have any viable alternative?
