Do we really have to pay them to commit unacceptable acts of crime day in day out instead of fighting crime? I think its time for the public to fire them including their Godfather Rybak.

I agree with you. I'll rather face civilian thief than one with a badge. I am not even sure if we need them since they are way aorse than criminals.
Lets fire them all. No more fear mongering tactics

Like the Douchebaggs in the street gangs are perfect angels who do nothing wrong. I really don't blame the cops if they go bonkers, who says cops have to be perfect?

I say they have to be pretty close to perfect. I pay their salary, after all. What I don't appreciate is knowing tax dollars end up going toward lawsuits due largely to the fact that a cop went "bonkers." I think it's more than just too bad that we've come to this point in our society where we find it acceptable that persons in authoritative positions (eg - politicians, police officers) should be anything less than Average Joe. These are people that need to make exceptionally difficult decisions, some times far outside of normal circumstances. It's understandable that mistakes will be made on occasion, but it is intolerable for these mistakes to occur as par for the course. That is literally insane to think that it's okay for an officer of the law to, on occasion, go "bonkers."

Thier behaviour is indefensible and total embarrassment to the good people of great city of Minneapolis. Minneapolis police should be thoroughly investigated by Feds or by the State of Minnesota and its legislator ASAP.

My son is an officer he has a 4 yr degree was an officer at the age of 21 he's now 26 and getting his maters, with a 3.986 gpa.... if you would treat them like you wanted to be treated - how do you know they wouldn't be nice to you, Have you ever been on a ride -a lone? Or can't you pass the back ground check??? If you don't like cops don't call 911. but don't break the law and them think its ok to get away with it.. OH and police are not your kids baby sitters be a damn parent, His being out on the street has made him a hard person seeing whay he does, day in and day out.. He doens't like knocking on your door to tell you that your son or daughter was hit by a car or drunk at a party, he's much rather you had control of them,,, I could go on and on about the "GOOD" things cop do, but you idiots will never listen

Not only do the test them they have a 4yr degree, Plus a ton of physical-mental-emotional training to put up with the people that break the law and blame it on some one else, The cops don't make you a victim you make your self one everytime you break the law,

Daily Horoscope for November 29

Sagittarius

Pay attention to your health as the Moon enters Taurus and your sixth house of health and service today; it might be time for a check up. With Neptune and Jupiter in your third house, nervous tension could be leading you into bad habits that will undermine your health. If you feel stressed out, reach for your athletic shoes instead of a double martini and you'll be happy with the results.
