Zygi seems to have given up on the idea of screwing Ramsey county.

Now he's going after the entire state.

If the politicians do their homework, they will find there is no economic benefit to giving Zygi hundreds of millions of dollars.

I hope the voters pay attention this time.

Ya, go straight to jail, the Vikings are number one in criminal arrests. Other than that, not so hot.
The taxpayers shouldn't pay one penny to keep this bunch of high-paid crooks here.

Pauline, you better watch out.

The Lefties in this state that think Corporate Welfare is a good thing when it is for their beloved Vikings will rip you a new one at every opportunity.

The lefties version of Corporate Welfare brings in jobs and tax dollars. The righties version don't? Will the private Zygi make money? Not if you TAX him more. Does that sound like "Redis. of Wealth" or stealing? And from whom? Then throw in gambling.

Sounds like a pot of socialistic gold.

Brings in jobs? Such as?

And which is worth more to MN? The Vikings or 3M?

Didn't 3M just build a factory in Mexico instead of MN? I wonder why that happened?

Gambling ...oh, yeah. The most regressive of all taxes. The Lefties love regressive taxes - if it provides more profits for their favorite football team.

If you are a fan of excellent football, you are a fan of the Packers. They are Superbowl champions and currently have a perfect record.

Go Vikings! Go to LA. Do not pass St. Paul. Do not collect 350 million dollars from the taxpayers.

Now Zygi says if a stadium is built in Minneapolis instead of Arden hills, he'll reduce his "contribution".

http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2011/11/10/wilf...

What a tool.

Hey Zygi, if you pay for your own damn stadium, you can build it anywhere you want.

The arrogance of these creeps is astonishing.

We don't want this and yet they continue:

"Would you favor or oppose using public money for a new Viking's stadium?"

Favor: 22%
Oppose: 74%
Don't know: 4%

The public option(tax) is off the table. The funds will come from some sort of gambling revenue.

Yup, and none of it from Zigi's pocket. let him sell the team to the vikings like the packers did, it would then be a who ever buys stock.

If there is to be a gamble let it be in the stock price.

Zygi's putting in around $500M I think - for a multipurpose stadium used by more than just his football team, much as the dome used to be. He gets the parking and development returns of course, but it's an investment in business - businesses that employ people. And, he won't get the concessions - which the local yokel naive sports commission gave up at the dome.

First, there isn't enough gambling revenue to give Zygi what he demands.

Second, if there is gambling revenue, why should Zygi get it? It could be used for schools, policemen, firemen, the environment, property tax relief, etc.

What zygi wants Zygi gets. isn't that the old song.

Well buy him a bus ticket out of town.

We lost the Lakers, we lost the North Stars. We survived.

Now if we had bought the team as a stock option and per share as any corporation does we would not have the wild, the Timberwolves and anyway such investments should be done to better serve the community, not to better serve a dictators wealth. Arden hills is not the best choice, it will cause untold traffic problems just like the downtown stadiums DID.

College stadiums are not privately owned, why should pro teams have them be privately owned. They are public entertainment, We already paid for a multitude of stadiums only to have them disused as the team owners do not make enough loot.

Its cheaper to buy them a ticket.

Who is worse, the Penn State coach and child molester or Zygi Wilf who wants to rape all the people of Minnesota?

Both sicken me equally.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Aries

Take care today Aries, because the emotional landscape in your neighborhood will be full of pitfalls during the coming fortnight, as it has been since the Solar Eclipse on May 20. The more convinced you are that you're right, the harder it will be to navigate your way around forthcoming events. If you feel resentful of someone, perhaps a neighbor or sibling, you need to get your feelings out in the open, rather than burying them deeper, where they'll fester and lead to more problems in the long run.
