Photo ID's to vote? No Thank You. What's next, reading and writing tests as well? Haven't we as a society moved past that part of our history.

but every candidate the Repubulicans have put forward this year are right wing- tea party zealots. Mr. Barden is running for AG not Governor or Seretary of State. So I'm not sure why he sights job creation or the use of photo ID's as a campaign issue. What I do know is that General Swanson has earned my vote based on her unwavering commitment and dedication to protecting the interests of us on mainstreet from those powerful interests who continue to pry on hard working Minnesotans. Frankly I'm impressed that General Swanson cares more about ensuring that her office is efficient and effective rather than being"organized". As she said "I'm a lawyer not a politician". How refreshing and now more than ever, how important.

Minnesota Attorney General Lori Swanson is a national leader in consumer protection in a time when consumer's particularly need protection from aggressive sales practices. The Upper Midwest agricultural community has also benefitted from her efforts to stop the monopolistic practices of the rail industry which increases consumer food and energy costs. We need her to continue her leadership.

Roughly 1/2 of the attorneys walked out of the AG's office with 8 signing a sworn affidavit stating she was using the office for policital advantage for the democratic party. She given state money to the tune of tens of thousands to ACORN... this office has become the tool of the democratic party and needs to be cleaned out!

Shame on the Pioneer Press. The union organizing effort failed because Lori Swanson engaged in a boss campaign, firing multiple union organizers and using state dollars to lobby against the union. She's one of the most corrupt politicians Minnesota has ever seen. She's not an advocate for the little guy - she's very good at getting press for herself, but have you ever looked at what her office has accomplished? She files lawsuits, holds a self-promoting press conference, and settles the suit for nothing. The only person who benefits is Swanson. I've never voted for a republican before in my life, but I'll be voting for Barden. Anybody but Swanson!

Swanson must go, that office is a DFL sub-division. It is ridiculous and shameful we allow that to continue. If Barden sucks then he gets voted out the next time. But change is desperately needed.

We need an Attorney General who cares about the law and this state. Lori Swanson does not. The scandals she started her term with (hiring Hatch, etc.) are proof she is a party 'hack' who only cares about her party. She deserves to lose.

If 'newspapers' like the Pioneer Press actually did any reporting on DFL scandals Lori Swanson whould be fired for illegal use of her office for partisan politics.

Its like the Vikings versus the Packers we must win at all cost. Remember its not the means but the ends that justify the means! So if you want to WIN and not be a looser be like the IrishMN and me vote for the candidate with the D behind their name! Rah Rah Obama, Pelosi, and Reid!

In other countries the voters have to dip their fingers in ink to show the voted.

Hats off to the PioneerPress for once again ignoring my candidacy for Attorney General of Minnesota. Not one reporter in all of Minnesota has had the courage - or intellectual honesty - to ask Lori Swanson if, as I have proven, the state of MN violated MN Statute 3.9221. I will pay the PioneerPress $1,000,000.000 if it can prove me wrong on this. As well, I have addressed the fact the Federal Government has seized Fee land from the state of MN, and put it into a tax-free Trust. This is absolutely illegal, but again not one reporter will ask Lori Swanson if she believes this is legal. Ms. Swanson should have immediately filed a lawsuit against the Federal Government to halt this illegal seizure.(See 'Fee to Trust' on an internet search). She proclaims to be protecting the people of Minnesota, yet she has ignored the most egregious violations of the law. And the PioneerPress? All sunshine and butterflies.
