Nice to read about the success of a Minnesota school with such high standards after learning North High School, sadly, may have to be closed. Congrats to all involved with St. Thomas.

I'm sorry you can't afford to send your kids there.

I realize this school has many great things going for it, and educates many fine young men. It would be nice, however, if they acknowledged that their fans' treatment of goalkeepers at soccer matches is in violation of Minnesota State High School League rules. It's not just "kids having fun" or "fans getting involved." It's deliberate harrassment of one player throughout the entire match. I'm no prude, and I've occasionally yelled things at sporting events of which I'm not particularly proud. But the St. Thomas students' behavior is continual and obnoxious, and is supported by their parents, and their athletic director. I'll take public school education any day over a place that condones that.
shutup you crybaby, your kid probably sits the bench when he is not wetting his pants

At Central (Public) the kids go beat up a clerk and rob a store. I don't see that out of Academy kids.

I love the old video clip. I've never seen it. Thanks for sharing a part of history. STA rocks.
