Cretin should have merged with Derham before they did and kept the old Derham building instead of selling it to St. Paul Public Schools (Expo). Cretin-Derham is just too crowded now. Just think what CDH could have done with both buildings.

I realize this school has many great things going for it, and educates many fine young men. It would be nice, however, if they acknowledged that their fans' treatment of goalkeepers at soccer matches is in violation of Minnesota State High School League rules. It's not just "kids having fun" or "fans getting involved." It's deliberate harrassment of one player throughout the entire match. I'm no prude, and I've occasionally yelled things at sporting events of which I'm not particularly proud. But the St. Thomas students' behavior is continual and obnoxious, and is supported by their parents, and their athletic director. I'll take public school education any day over a place that condones that.
