Someone very strange is following you. I wrote a letter to the judge who will be hearng my daughters assault case next week. I told him my concerns about the little boy who watched his father punch his mother in the face. If this guy gets off, I might have to call child protection again. They were not concerned last time I spoke with them.

It needs to be stated with utmost clarity on the record that your daughter is not the only victim of his violence. If the incident repeats, please DO call child protection. Call as many times as it takes to get your grandson out of that volatile and degrading situation. My prayers go with you for the strength to endure on behalf of that little boy and his mother. Zen

To the moderator: Artie is correct in her analysis of the situation. You have allowed the person that goes by the name "the master" to single handedly shut down this conversation because of his constant attempts to highjack the conversation into politics (and not the kind that have anything to do with child abuse). How sad.

I have to agree with Welfare Guy. I also have needed assistance from the state during a couple of rough times, but my friend has become dependant upon it. She is "addicted" to free everything as if it were a drug and has the Welfare Entitlement mentality. I am so angry because she only works if and when she feels like it because if she works too many hours her benefits will get cut back. And she only has 2 kids to feed while we work constantly and have 6 kids. She is getting back $7,000 on her income taxes because of EIC and we will get back $1,500. We have more mouths to feed and if you add up all the free everythings she gets she makes more than us. And she won't use that money to get out of debt, but it going to have fun with it and depend on her church to keep paying her bills. Not sure if I'm jealous, angry, or both! Go figure!
