Principal tells PETA: Kids hunt, get over it

Well bolted, you really need to study up on animals, isn't that what PETA is interested in protecting?

It's common knowledge that Black Bear, living in Minnesota and Wisconsin DO hunt/prey on whitetail deer. BTW there ar few if any mule deer in Minnesota or Wisconsin. Black Bear prey on fawn whitetail deer in Minnesota in the spring after they come out of hibernation (deer don't hibernate).

You see after the bear come out of hibernation in spring (like now) there is little for them to eat and the newborn whitetail deer, fawns are easy prey for a hungry bear. One Black Bear will cosume 6-10 fawn deer every spring.

Cars in some areas of Minnesota and Wisconsin kill more deer than hunters. In fact the automobile insurance companies have contected Wisconsin DNR (Department of Natural Resources) demanding more liberal hunting harvest for deer because of the numbers of deer/vehicle wrecks. Deer caused wrecks cause BILLIONS of dollars damage nationwide.

If you drive a car YOU ARE/WILL BE A KILLER OF DEER AND OTHER HELPLESS ANIMALS!!

Most years more deer are killed in Minnesota b cars than archery hunters.

You are correct Bob about automobiles being more of a threat to whitetail deer than hunters. In central and southern MN where its mostly agricultural there is a lot of road kill in the fall due the the farmers harvesting the fields and causing the deer to be on the move. I once hit a deer on the highway that flew completely over the top of my car. It got up and ran off, but judging from the extensive damage to the front of my car I can't imagine it survived long. Nor can I fathom why this type of death is more humane than if I had shot it with a gun.

Since you bring up farmers, many fawns are killed during harvest of grain. Vegetarians are directly responsible for these deaths as they eat grains. Murderers!

We need more teachers like this. That way we might have a chance to battle the dummys at peta.

P.E.T.A. really need to learn where their place in society is. None of them have and idea about hunting and really have no right to say anything. Just because I dont like you only eat say and vegtiables I dont do dumb stuff like this to get attention. And PETA does the same thing to young kids trying to brainwash them into thinking killing an animal is horrible when its not.

I hope these backwards folks are not going to allow pictures kids took of the "Fishy's they killed too!!

Pretty fish though Musky, walleyes, Bass, they need protection.

PETA has very large EGO which is now deflated!

PETA realized that the only people they were convincing of anything were the ones already brainwashed, which does them no real good. Meanwhile, there were plenty of arguments against them.

I think people are starting to wake up to these wacko agendas as they realize that these groups such as PETA are slowly taking away more and more freedoms.

you guys are ignorent! Now that I have your attention. I've hunted since I was very young, I don't drink smoke do drugs I've never been in a fight and I haven't killed anyone. I enjoy hunting and use most of the animals i take, i am also thankful to God for our GOD given privelage to hunt and enjoy the outdoors. Hunting is also good for the environment because it keeps herd populations in check and helps prevent diseases from speading due to over population, and ensures that there is enough food and reasorces for the animals to have a healthy diet. Do Gangsters hunt? no but they are violent just to be violent. It is all in how a child is raised if the parents have violent behavior or don't teach there kids right from wrong that is whats to blame. If you guys want to be "Vegie" eaters and not hunt thats your choice, but don't force your thoughts and hatred on other people. I believe that if the kids want to participate let them if they don't thats fine to, it is America after all.
