Really?? A fetus and a bag of flower? That that might just be the worst comparison I have ever seen.
The comparison was fine. If something has potential to become something, it isn't "IT", until proper steps are taken and conditions are made. If you'd like to present a better comparison, fine...Otherwise you're showing a BIAS, without presenting ANYTHING of value... Again, you "can" be/do better.

So can you. Comparing a living organism to a bag of flower is ridiculous. But to use your analogy, egg and sperm would be equivalent to your flower and water and yeast. Once they meet up, you have a living organism that begins cell division. The beginning of potential. It could potentially abort spontaneously, it could potentially divide and become two or more organisms, it could potentially mutate and become a 12 toed fetus. But once conception takes place, the process begins and there is always potential.

Dude, you just said a lot of nothing. Come on, I understand your bias, but this purely drivel. I'm not an abortion fan, but men aren't carrying the burden. Life isn't always fair and greater good HAS to be considered....

That Hitler references are about as intelligent as Chimpanzees flinging dung?

Okay. Consider it added.

That doesn't answer my question, and I didn't say it was OK. And why is it OK for those who have no children to pay for public schools? Those who don't drive pay for roads? We ALL pay for something we don't want to.
Those who accept public funds in any form can't have it both ways. If they're dumb enough to accept public money, they are going to be dictated by the government how to utilize those funds. Religious organizations walk up to Uncle Sam with their hand out shouldn't be shocked or surprised when an administration such as the current one bullies them into throwing away their principles. Stop taking public money, and they can do with their private money as they please.
Unless it's as I asked to begin with: does this apply only to those organizations that accept public money, or all religious organizations? With all the articles I've read on this, I can't seem to get that answer.
It appears that you're trying to compare education, ect., to the taking of a life. An innocent life to boot.
As far as walking up with their hands out, do you have any idea of all the goodwill and charity, that the Catholic Church provides to those in need? Did you know, for example, that the Mayo clinic was started by Catholic nuns? The list goes on and on.
I bring up the Catholic faith first and foremost because the "Yes we can" administration has most assuredly set their sights on us. But I'm fairly sure it isn't limited to just us. I think the Muslims are free and clear though. One only has to recall the outcry from the liberal camp when they, the Muslims, wanted to build a "recreation center" near the site of the twin towers.
Now please note the total and complete lack of support from these same fine, upstanding citizens when Christianity is under attack. Again.
I hope I've answered your question.

With all due respect: by voting for Wellstone because of his environmental stance you put that above your religious stance, making you the "Buffet Catholic" I mentioned. I don't have a dog in the race so I can't congratulate you on your "come to Jesus moment." I gave up the Catholic thing when I was in my teens and haven't looked back.
When I voted for him, like you I was not a practicing Catholic. In my late teens I too decided that religion was for those who couldn't deal with the new and improved reality. Much like what is happening now. It was about 10 plus years ago I found out how misguided I was about alot of issues. In essence, I was almost a complete and mindless liberal.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Bible thumper. Everybody was given free will to use as they feel. But I'm NOT the type of Cristian that turns the other cheek. Yes, I know I'm not perfect but I do try. Sorry to hear you've left the faith.

<quoted text>This Catholic begs to differ. Yes, I did vote for Wellstone the first time he ran. This was mostly based on his enviromental stance. But after that I re-learned a lesson I apparently forgot. Never trust a politician, but NEVER trust a politician that's a democrat.
I should clarify that I'm not a registered Republican. But I do consider myself as a conservitive.
If you put any faith in anything these Republicans are spewing out to try and get elected, you would be a fool.

Obama announces ‘accommodation’ for religious institutions on contraception
Amid a backlash from many Catholics and proponents of religious liberty, President Barack Obama announced Friday that his administration will not require religious institutions like hospitals and universities to provide free contraception to their employees in their health insurance.

Some are skeptical of Obama's claims that the insurers won't pass on any of the free birth control costs to religious employers. "If you believe the insurance companies will actually provide the drugs for free, you know nothing of economics," Red State blogger Erick Erickson wrote on Twitter. Sarah Kliff at the Washington Post points to a Guttmacher Institute report that estimates it costs about $21 to add contraceptives to a plan per year. Even if those costs are offset by a reduction in pregnancies as the Obama administration says, the up-front cost to insurance companies will not be inconsiderable.

Do you always deliberately miss the point or are you that dense? I'm not comparing education to taking a life. As I clearly explained in the post you are responding to there are ALWAYS going issues we don't believe we should have to pay for.

And to your point of all of that wonderful charity Catholic's give, if it's government, which was my point, how is that the Catholic's charity? That's MY charity if it's used with tax dollars. And, that brings me back to my original point: If public money isn't accepted to begin with, they don't have to be dictated to on how to use. As the saying goes, if you dance with the devil, expect to get burned.

I can only imagine you only run your mouth off in the safety of the internet. Unless you really love soup. Which is it miz airhead? Of course there are things we don't want our tax dollars going to. Are YOU that dense?
Now notice how Caligula Obama is back peddaling on this issue. Seems to me that I'm right on point.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Aquarius

The emotional atmosphere is quite potent under this Lunar Eclipse, evoking a sense of crisis. The problems you've been experiencing with a certain person lately come to a head during the next fortnight, making you feel that you have to take drastic action or lay down the law. Yet this could make the situation worse than ever, especially if you act from a sense of panic or desperation. Take things gently and don't throw your weight around unless it's absolutely necessary.
