Newt Gingrich upped his attacks against President Obama on Sunday over his administration's requirement that some religious hospitals offer co-pay-free birth control under the new health care law.

Of course we want the Federal government running the healthcare business. Who is more qualified than them?

The law also requires that insurance cover sterilization and the morning-after drug, which is what really has the Catholics upset. I wouldn't be surprised if Obama caves on these.

The Catholic voters, most of which I call Buffet Catholics because they pick and choose which orders to follow, mostly vote Democrat anyway. It's just the Church hierarchy and politicians who care about birth control issues.

The Obama administration is spouting nonsense and lies about women's rights and access to health care. When you sign up for health care insurance, you know what is covered and what is not. If you don't like it, you pick another provider. Besides, health insurance for birth control is like car insurance for oil changes. It's stupid.

There's something I'm not understanding in this latest flap. Does this apply to ALL religious employers, or only those that are subsidized by federal money? If it's the latter, stop accepting public funds. Problem solved. If it's the former, it's flagrant government over-reach.

This was mostly based on his enviromental stance. But after that I re-learned a lesson I apparently forgot. Never trust a politician, but NEVER trust a politician that's a democrat. I should clarify that I'm not a registered Republican. But I do consider myself as a conservitive.

But why is it alright for a group like say..... unplanned parenthood, to accept MY "public funds" to support the extermination of our fellow human beings?

Wow! I thought you claimed to be an "intellegent" lib! Just for your edification Mr Tick, you are reffering to a chemical that does exactly what an abortion is. Are you truly this heartless or just misinformed? And just to let you know, I used to be pro-death, aka "choice". I've corrected my immoral stance. Perhaps you should too. You'll be a better person for it.
