Why use kid gloves when describing this terrorists actions?: ""took part" in a 1975 effort by the SLA to put bombs under police cruisers ..... and "helped" in a deadly bank robbery". She didn't just "take part" or "help" she was convicted of murder and attempted murder.

Perhaps Kathy/Sara Jane, whatever her name is this week can go to work in an abortion clinic. She can do what she's done before and kick pregnant women in the stomach.

This could be a prelude to the Presidential contest of 2012- with Arnold winning over Pawlenty. The losers now? Pawlenty and the state of Minnesota. Now we'll have to put up with endless media stories of the redemption and social worthiness of Sistah' Soliah. The only good thing to come out of this is if she gets a role in a Guthrie play. Then I would get a front row seat to throw garbage at this cop-killer.

She has served her time, leave her and her family alone. She lived here under the radar peacefully for many years. I don't agree with her choices but that doesn't mean we get to condemn her for the rest of her life. She served her time, it shouldn't feel like she is still in prison when she comes home.

Procrustes, time to actually do a little research before commenting. There's no way any presidential contest could be Arnold vs. Pawlenty... 1) Unless one of them changes parties between now and then, they're both Republicans, so they would only oppose each other in the primary, not the final election--if it weren't for the more important fact that: 2) Because he wasn't born in the US, Arnold ISN'T ELIGIBLE TO BECOME PRESIDENT!!!

I always thought jail time was supposed to act as a deterrent. Seven years is nothing. I guess if you can spare a little time, murder doesn't cost that much.

Sure we can. She did in fact serve her time but that doesn't mean that she is no longer a convicted criminal. Should we leave rapist, drug dealers, or murders (which includes Olson) alone after prison? This woman got off so easy and so many people are all too apologetic for her criminal actions. I might even agree with some of them if this piece of trash would ever apologize for what she did! One of the main signs of a psycopath is not believing you had done something wrong when you committed a terrible act. DANI wrote: She has served her time, leave her and her family alone. She should be condemned for the rest of her life, she hurt a lot of people and those people that had their lives affected by it have to deal with it the rest their lives, so should she. How would you feel if it was your family member that had a bomb under thier car.

I'll take that bet.Things change. President Arnold? Has a nice ring to it. Franken could well be his running mate. Don't laugh.

Her supporters keep saying how much she contributed to the community. Has she only ever done volunteer work, or has she every contributed as a tax paying member of society? What name is her social security number under? When her and hubby filed taxes what name was used her legal Kathleen Soliah or false Sara Jane Olson? Has she every legally changed it to Sara Jane? Why did she not become Sara Jane Peterson? Maybe because she would have had to provide a birth certificate? If so are they even legally married? Just some questions going through my head.

Arnold is a republican? Maybe on paper but not in action. He sure doesn't act like a republican, he is more left then allot of democrats.
He supports gay marriage, "Even though the state voted against it", Fetal Stem Cell research, global warming, increased taxes, the list goes on.

Why shouldn't she feel like she is in prison? She can't bring Myrna Opsdahl back. Her family is still suffering. The baby she killed by kicking the pregnant woman is still dead. She lied to many people for many years trying to cover up her past and she was lying when she apoligized at her sentencing. She is only sorry she got caught. This is evident by all the lies she told to friends to get them to raise defense money for her while she was still denying her past.

"Olson will remain on parole for one year" No, she hasn't served her time, if she had she wouldn't still be on parole. She should rot in Cali, a nice liberal state....unfortunatly MN is pretty liberal too.
