It's over now.
I am sure some will be relieved and others not so happy.

Thank god...if this happened i would have just destroyed every meter they hook up to my house. And I was looking into getting a well drilled so we wouldnt have to rely on the public system.

The green items the grant would have paid for didn't include roads. This was a specific grant for meters. As for destroying meters hooked to your house, most communities with public water use meters. Ticonderoga was one of the few that didn't. The idea was to waste less water and pay for what you use.

I'm glad that the water meter issue has ended. It would have cost so much more and I agree their are other issues that need to be looked at.

We need more 'Doctor's', not just the Ti Health Center which has a monopoly on Ticonderoga.
One's who will 'help' and are knowlegable, not just give you a bunch of pills and say, come back in a week if your not better! DUH!!!!

We need a SUPERMARKET,,,not just WALMART, where you buy what they have....COMPETITION...we have none!!!
Walmart can raise their prices and not order what people want...we get the leftovers...

We need a supermarket that does inventory on what sells, not Walmart where the 'company' decides who gets what?

JUST MY OPINION!!!

The only reason to meter water, aside from making money, is to conserve the use of water during times of drought. THAT WILL NEVER BE A PROBLEM IN TICONDEROGA!!!! We need our town spokespeople to get on the stick getting that stimulus money for things we need while it's available. We are missing the gravy train folks, big time. Instead of a a main street group we should have a fulltime stimulus money finding group.

Daily Horoscope for December 12

Leo

It's a wonderful day for being sociable, whether you're chatting to a loved one or going to a seasonal party. You're feeling very gregarious and will leap at the chance to catch up on all the gossip. However, be careful not to get carried away and to say more than you intended. You should also stop talking every now and then so others can get a word in edgeways.
