yes, I like to comment on this story. If Council Member Hamilton is listening I have a chicken farm west of town here where I raise chickens and I have a few goats to. I will probably git anixed by the City. Can us folks that own animals like chickens and goats keep them on our place. I've got my chicken business that pays the bills and I can't afford to be shut down right now. Is the City going to help folks like me when they anix me?

I heard from several top students that they learned a lot in his class. I also heard that he was fired for affair with another school employee and for things his wife posted on Facebook about millsap isd. She was real witchy but they shouldn't have taken it out on him. Don't make misd mad cause they will get even.

why is hamilton having anything to say positive or negative about a board he left more than a year before his term was up? He had his chance to serve and follow up on all those campaign promises. Guess the Big Pond in Washington was too much for him to handle.

Why would anyone who was having an affair with another employee, while he was married and then quit the city council before his term was up be considered a decent example for anyone?

I heard this former city councilman has had his house go into foreclosure after moving back and his wife is fooling around on him :( man that is rough. Or was it he was having an affair? I thought they just got back from an extended trip to Europe so maybe they are okay? Hope so.

Why wouldn't Hamilton think he could smooth over his unacceptable background and fit right in with the current atmosphere in city government. Look at the reps of the current seated council. They all have unaceptable reps. The low voter turnout at elections help them keep those positions. If anyone challenges them they call out the dogs on them and try to ruin them personally and business wise. Our town has a very unsavory reputation all over this region and state wide. A clean sweep of the entire council is now necessary if the majority of tax payers want good representation in government. The county is in the same condition. Anytime all the elected positions are filled by one party the taxpayers lose in the end. It hasn't taken long at all for the rot to set in. Add too the mix a party chair who is only interested in furthering her personal agenda of control and it will smell worse than rotten eggs.

The way I was told, James Hamilton was fired from MISD, because it got to the current MISD Superintendent that Joe Tison had been promised the MISD superintendent job for the next year, for his vote to put James Dickenson on the Weatherford Muncipal Utility Board just after the electric rate problem. In case you don't know, James Dickinson had been the Utiltiy director for 20 years and put in place the base reasons for the electric rate problems. Also, this would answer the question of why Mr Hamilton hasn't gotten a teaching job since thier return to Weatherford.

Apparently a can of worms has been opened here. Wow, I had no idea of all of these issues. Of course he will be remembered as the one who quit and came back, that's punishment unto itself I would say. I meet his wife one day. She is trying to make it in the catering business. She is such a nasty piece of work when I tried calling and asking about her catering a party. She will not get my business.

Just wanted to add to the discussion. The way I heard it, I was laid-off along with several other teachers so the Millsap ISD could save money. Without a job, and in a difficult economy, we were in a world of hurt. We were so grateful, then, when my wife's old employer recruited her to come back to DC. With a job, we could meet our financial obligations. Sadly, it meant we had to move away from Weatherford. We enjoyed our time in DC, but after my father died in December and after a particularly difficult school year for our daughter, we decided to come back to be close to my now widowed mother, other family members and our church family as well. I loved serving the people of this community during the time they sent me to the City Council. I wish circumstances had allowed me to complete my term, but family needs must come first. I don't think anyone here can really disagree with that. The other comments are laughable, folks. There l were no affairs, firings, or secret negotiations to keep me out of work now that we have moved back. The house isn't in foreclosure. We'll probably move back in when our tenants move our later this year. Sid Johnson, I know I hurt your feelings when I told you never to contact me again after you angrily told my wife to "go to Hell" after a Council meeting. You couldn't govern your tongue then and it's clear you can't do it in this forum either. You are no gentleman, Mr. Johnson. I loved teaching and I miss the students and colleagues who meant so much to me. The ones who learned something from me know who they are. God bless you, folks. And, please God, bless this community and the nation in which we live.

Ur wife however, whew. She has a nasty bark and bite. U left, well I guess because if family comes first and that's your story, then stick to it. Don't try getting on here and asking for pity or to act like you really gave a dang about this city, because that would be the biggest lie you have stated to date. All you are concerned about is how best you can get ahead, no matter how many toes and fingers you step on or how many you crawl over and crush. You had it all, and yet you were the one that made the decision to leave and chuck what you had. You could have gotten another job here as could have your wife. The PITY PARTY IS OVER. You are no more a gentleman anymore than your wife is a lady.

Well, maybe being married to your wife is enough punishment? I would say so! My lord man, you have the nerve to speak of Sid Johnson? I will gaurantee your wife said something equally nasty to invite the insult. That's how she operates. You need to rein her in. She has a mouth the size of the Grand Canyon and a bite like a King Cobra. She will be the undoing of you here or anywhere else.

You left the school in the middle of the day, middle of the week, before you had to. You left Mrs. Henry's office that day and we never saw or heard from you again. We all read the postings your wife put on facebook about MISD administration and some of the teachers. What was that about? There is a lot more to this story than what you are telling and when we asked Mrs. Henry, she would only tell us that it was a private matter. We felt that she fired the best teacher at Millsap. The real lesson we learned from all of this was that you and MISD talk the talk but never walk the walk. You taught us how things should be handled in class but you and MISD did not live up to those same lessons. You are a fake and MISD is a fake. You say the things that sound good and that you expect people want to hear but you are not telling the whole story.
