Ross pleads guilty to molestation

Looking and reading all the stories that come from Blue Ridge Ga , I think so many of these girls that don't have nothing better to do than just blame these men need to get a life and grow up . They need head help and for the people that take these people serious what are you smoking . The court system is all about numbers .. So again this is becoming a nothing to do lets blame someone .. Mr. Ross , I don't know you but I stand behind you and all the others that have been through a system that is so messed up and you have no other way .My prayers go out to you and your family .

I find this comment to be extremely childish and offensive. Do you know this man or his situation? Why is it that whenever the word rape/child molestation is mentioned that the accused is automatically assumed to be guilty. Foxnews.com had a article that dealt with this kind of prejudice. The article states that 1 in 4 accusations concerning rape are false. It also goes on to mention that the accusers are never held accountable or dealt with. Again, I pose the question, Why are they always assumed to be guilty? It is human nature to hear of something and form an opinion but this fast forwarding has lead to a huge mistake. I am a family member of Jobin Ross. I KNOW his situation. If you, "anonymous" are someone who has read the News Observer and based you information off them, Please let me fill you in. The girl, sorry Woman, who is accusing Jobin is now nineteen years old. She stated that she had be abused since she was seven. That is along time to keep quiet, don't you think? The claim is that she was scared to tell someone. So you are telling me that is 12 years period of time she never had a brave moment. That is not the only thing that is fishy about this case. The paper did not mention that this girl is also involved in another case against a different male family member. In this case she is claiming the same thing happened to her. So, what the hell. One was going out the door as the other was coming in? For anyone who cares to read this Jobin's situation is this. The jury was hung at the end of the trial, but they did find him not guilty on the charges of rape. If Jobin did not rape her then how is it that all the other charges can even apply? Jobin was not found guilty of anything. He was told by his attorney that if the case went back to court he could end up serving 25 to life, or he could take a plea and only get 5 years. The problems that Jobin had were two. First, when the case began he had to pay his attorney, and if he went back to court Jobin would have to give the lawyer more money and he had nothing let to sell or give to raise the funds, so no attorney. Second, is that if he went back and the case lost then he would be getting more prison time. What sane person would take that big of chance? The trial was also a huge factor in Jobin's situation. The DA had no physical evidence against the accused it was all hearsay. The evidence that was shown, letters and receipts, in no way did they condemn Jobin. So, how did the DA do so well in the trial? Judge Weaver was kind enough to help out. I thought that the judge was suppose to be neutral, but in Jobin's case the judge was leading the DA. She would say things like, "Are you sure you want to do that because he can do this," talking about the defense attorney. All in all this case was doomed not because the man was truly guilty but because there were too many factors against him. I love Jobin and Sharon, his wife. They are great friends and have helped me in any way they can in the past. I mourn this grievous injustice that has been committed against him and I pray everyday that the accuser is judged according to her actions. I want to ask that you know the case and if so then, make educated responses instead of being so damn childish, as to say things about boyfriends. Jobin is a great man and has lots of friends and family awaiting his release. God bless him and his family and let His judgment be given to those who ruin others.

To SCSL thank you. for most of the people in this county they poorly judge people based on what a community says about people they dont even know. I know jobin he is family and i love his wife and him i know that none of this happened. she lied and is continueing to lie. it will all come out in the end. if she doesnt get judged on earth she will when her time comes God will take care of it. I have great faith in that. I continue to pray for my family and friends. And thank you once again for the prayers for our family.

mr ross i have read the news observer they always make it sound bad . but we know the truth she was lieing . i pray for you every night . you are on our pray list all trought the usa . i was in picken county court house i could see right throught that girl she needs her head checked . she will be judged by the almighty god . you have a lot of family and friends that love you very much.

Faith, I just wanted to say thanks for your support on Jobin's behalf. As a family member I can not tell you how happy we are to have the faith and support of others. Jobin is a great man and we are looking forward to getting him back with us. When we have the celebration party for him getting out, remind me to invite you. Thanks again for all your prayers.

SCSL,I have seem many cases but this one takes the cake. sitting in that court room in pickens I did not know this girl but I could see right through her lies. Our system is going to have to wake up and put a stop to this. These girls are sending good family men to prison for no reason SO SAD . I don't how they can sleep at night. Yes I support Mr Ross 100% I will be praying for the family and Mr Ross . May God have mercy on this girl who done this to this man and his family.

I'm not in the family.I was her friend at one time until I seen what kind of person she was or so called friend. I know she does lie and in my heart I know she was lieing about that man .She talking about everybody but she needs to take a long look in the mirror at her self she has hurt alot of people and I have seen that with my own eyes.She says she is sad well she needs to be sad for what she has done. As far as our friend ship it don't matter who I am I just know I am better off with out her as my FRIEND.Because no one has respect for her because she is trash.She acts sad for people to feel sorry for her don't fall for that she is just playing you . Because she don't care about nobody but herself.

Well, I am glad that she has finally showed you her colors. It really pissed me off to see all her friends at the trail. They all thought that she was the victim, but no one looked at the real person it hurt. I hope she burns in hell for the lies that she has told, that has lead to the destruction of a good man. Her mother is a whore by sleeping with a man who is married. And this is something that "A" as said many times. She has bad mouthed her mama and even said that her mom was at fault for her dad's death, because when he found out about the relationship that is what made him drink. This is a shame that Mr. Ross has to go through this. From reading all the comments you can tell this man has so many people behind him and support him . And what this mans family is going through. Reading the story in the paper the DA is saying what courage this girl had and this girl is in school . Well you tell me were is this girl now , and is she still in school ? Yes it is a shame I have to live in Mineral Bluff and I work in Blue Ridge . That is all she know how to do is lie. her x boyfriend was afraid she would get him in trouble . i worked with jobin, and i know all he did for her.
i cant say i know what happened, but i do know the he was a good person, and he dropped whatever he was doing to help out a friend in need. i was truly shocked when i heard the news. my prayers go out to the whole ross family. and by the way, if she is lying, then kahrma is a bitch. it will come back on her at some point in time. and just so you know, if youre not from fannin co. the das and judges and defense lawers are all crooked. people with money always get off, and poor people like us always get the shaft cause we can pay them off.
