Some folks look for a full tree, while others search for a more openly branched tree. While growers do all they can to provide "the perfect tree", it is not always possible. The weather has much to do with how the trees grow and thrive. The 2008 winter was very damaging to trees, but coupled with snow and ice in 2008, and the drought of 2009 and excessive heat - some trees died and others lost their needles. Will you please comment about your choice of tree? Tall, Short, Fat, Thin, Full, Wide or Narrow? Thanks - it will be helpful.
