Confused Parent wrote: Houses that reside on the border - between two cities (Columbus & Westerville) having Trick or Treat times that are different, present a HUGE problem. Why would these two cities have trick or treat on totally seperate days? Is this really necessary? Who coordinates these times without talking to each other and coming up with the best plan. Granite, they are two seperate cities, but are they really so different that we need to confuse our community and have disappointed kids? Granite, rofl

Trick or treat should be allowed on whatever day it falls on. I live in Macedonia and I can't stand the way communities change the day of trick or treating. Too much control. Why is the stupid to argue over? To change the day the event falls on is stupid.

Ann wrote: I don't live in Ohio but heard there are specified days and times for trick or treating. Growing up in New York and relocating to California we have always trick or treated on Halloween, October 31st. Who is it that mandates these days and times? I have never heard of such a thing. Is it against the law to go trick or treating on Halloween night? Must be a nice change from dreary old Manhattan!
