For those that say they can leave their doors unlocked. The man that broke in to my mother-in-law's house, broke down 3 doors/locks to get to the hallway leading to her house. Even with locks, you aren't safe in Warner Robins. When we lived there, we had an alarm on our house. Now, in our DC suburb, we don't have a lock and feel safer. The crime in Warner Robins is BAD!

I don't know where all the crime is going on in Warner Robins because I have lived here for 5 years and it's no worse here than any other city in the state of Georgia based on it's population. Glad I escaped you are right. If someone wants to steal from you, they will break through all your doors, disarm your house alarm and bust out your windows - happens everyday in every city all across the USA.

This is the worst place that I have ever lived in my life. These people here think that they have something special when this place is nothing but a hell-hole. There is nothing to do and for decent shopping, you have the go to either Macon or Atlanta. It's funny how people would call someone bitter because they don't share the same opinion as them. Typical of the uppity people that live here. This place really sucks.

I lived there for 5 years. If you are a simple country bumpkin that is your town. If you want something called arts and culture you will have to drive to Atlanta 2 hours to and 2 hours from. Macon is just a dump. I quit a government job because I could not stand the bible thumping bumpkins and good old boy network of corrupt politics. I suppose if you are one of those types you will fit in. Thaaanky KEEEouuuuu ! Don't forget that dam Georgia dripping southern accent that will make you puke.

I use to live there in the late '90s. Things were rockin and it was hot! There is a great underground swingers club. Just put a large rock or sculpture in your yard to get invites. Lots of hot guys, only some came drugged out and had STDs so they got sent home.

The people here are so full of themselves and think the world owes them everything. I think it has to do with the fact that they know they are lIving in a mediocre place such as this, they have to feel special about something. Aside from that, the traffic absolutely sucks here because theres only two main roads and both lead to the Base. They build walmarts in the worst places traffic-wise. They keep building more mediocre restaurants instead of having at least one respectable place to eat. The only things I like about Warner robins are the cost of living is low and I haven't been a crime victim (yet). I'm stuck in the city for now but eventually I'll move to the outskirts and it won't be so bad.

The traffic situation is absolutely horrible. The population has more than doubled in the past 10 years, yet the roads are never upgraded. Expect it to take 45 minutes or more to drive the 10 miles across town if the hours are between 6am to 10am or 2pm to 6pm. Traffic light sensors, a technology that has existed for several decades now, still has not made it to Warner Robins. Expect to sit at a traffic light behind 30 other people (and 30 more behind you) for 4 minutes while no one is coming from the other direction. And if you hit one light, you will hit all of them. Whoever is in charge of it should be fired, but they're not. And they never will be.

Most people work on base, which pays about twice the national average for unskilled labor. You're left with a town full of people with an unearned sense of entitlement whose only accomplishment comes from being born in the right place at the right time. The Beverly Hillbillies love their monster trucks and Mustangs. Throw SUVs into the mix, and that's all you will see on the road. Air quality is very bad as a result.

Forget about any sort of culture whatsoever. It's not here, and the residents do not want it here.

Things must have changed a lot since I was there in 68-70. I remeber Warner Robins with a lot of friendly people and do not remember much crime. I remember the chain gangs working the county roads. Maybe that should be brought back. I lived in Bonair and worked at Robins AFB. As I remember there was only like 2 or 3 bars in town and they were all on front street or first street near the Macon hiway.
It is definately not the place you remember. It has grown faster than weeds grow. The traffic is horrific and the city neighborhoods have gone down hill, with run down homes with dirt or weedy yards. I have seen the disintegration over the past 30 years. I wish it was like it was when you left.

If that were true, it would be on the list of "100 best places to live". Nowhere within 500 miles is on such a list.

So yeah, I've got a list of at least 100 better places to live.

Do you really think one small town could get on the top 100 list, come on be realistic. If you think it is so bad then you have not been to many other places, there is truly alot worst out there!

No, don't be stupid. You said there are none better, and I provided evidence there are at least 100 better. What I said is factual and backed up by evidence. What you said is wrong and destroyed by evidence. No need to read any further into it than that.

It's a great place to live ... if you like Mexican's, half breed Mexican's and black ass spades.

Nasty ass place. All the guy's are whiney asses. Especially the half breed Mexican's.

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Libra

Is a relationship getting dull and predictable? If so, it's time to inject some spontaneity into it, preferably by doing things on the spur of the moment and taking a few risks. Maybe you should go out for a meal for a change. There could also be a surprise in store when you realize you're attracted to someone who's totally different from your usual type.
