Full story: USA Today

For weeks, Sonya Sotomayor has put on her best face, displaying a pleasant disposition that has somewhat fended off critics of her nomination to become the nation's first Hispanic Supreme Court justice.

What does NY have to do with how a Hispanic woman was treated as she grew-up? Are you saying all in NY are just alike in everything? Uh, did you take your pills this morning?

Sotomayor already tried to tell you of the injustices she endured and what she learned by such. However, it seems she is willing to sell her soul for a seat on the supreme court--as American justice--haha, would have her do.

Our backgrounds teach us justice---IF WE LET IT, while the law, states that she--we--must ignore justice, because in America, the law is all that matters, while justice means nothing---by it's dealings.

The Supreme Court is the final arbiter of the law. It isn't the final arbiter of what the law 'should be'. Sotomayor isn't bashful about her propensity to dictate what she 'thinks' is right versus what the law demands.
It's apparent she is not well versed in our laws or she has little regard for them. In either case, it disqualifies her for the job.

My background taught me that killing 'em all and letting God sort 'em out settled most disputes quickley. Guess I should be allowed to wear a black robe and carry an Uzi to the Supreme Court?

Personal opinions should have no play there. They should use logic not emotion. And good judgement-something Sotomayor clearly did not exercise when spewing the La Raza shit.

So when all the attorney generals that sued tobacco for medicaid and medicare and then they just let the theives in each state spend those billions, why didn't the supreme court intervene?

How is it not one lawyer stood-up and said,--hey, you attorney generals sued on behalf of medicaid and medicare. Every penny of that money should go there. That's the law.

Our congress could have intervened as well, but as congress bailed-out wall street, it was so the people in congress wouldn't lose their investments.

There is no law in the US, that has not been fully corrupted. There is no truth, no proof and no justice, just the laws those in power, twist and turn at their convienience.

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Aquarius

The atmosphere in the office is stressful. Learn to divide time in a planned and phased manner. Beware of starting a lot of new things but not having the time to finish any of them. Mental overload will burn your busy and chaotic schedules and health problems may crop up all of a sudden. If you party with friends this evening, don't make it too late.
