I believe that the Alto Tunnel should be renovated and reopened. Developing and implementing this idea is worth the expense, because it will add value to the communities on either portal. Camino alto is too narrow, and the hwy. 101 route is ugly and dangerous as well. The tunnel will revive interest in cycling in Marin, and send a strong message that Marin is invested in the well being of the people in the community.
