Voters in 4 towns to decide on value, funds for on-call bus service

Bone-chilling temperatures Tuesday didn't stop people gathered in cozy Brusch Hall for a meeting of the local senior citizens' club from going outside to check out the big blue bus.

Although this new bus service is available to all residents, regardless of age or physical condition, it is about time we get to give something back to the senior population who don't contribute to huge budgets for schools and other town services. In Hollis, $1.00 per car registration isn't going to hurt anyone.
