Kite's is suppose to open this evening at 5pm-2am, limited menu-through July 4th and then close to finish interior remodeling.

I have noticed some negative remarks about the Kite's in Manhattan. Has he had any problems with the health department etc?

The negative remarks were about Last Chance (listed as Rusty's). The current owner of Kites sold Last Chance 10 years ago.
No fear with Kites.

A new business comes to town and the first comment on this site is so negative. I am starting to believe that only very unhappy peolple hang out here. My God, the guy has invested a lot of time and money and he has not even opened up his doors yet and some unhappy sole wants to be critical and start crap. par for the course on this site.

I can't wait to try kites out..

I hope that Kites does well here. It is so sad to have that building empty. Let's not critize it until we have had a chance to try it out. I have eaten at the one out east of Manhattan and I thought the food was very good and a lot of it.

I wish KITES the best of luck because lord knows we need somewhere in this town to eat. Coaches gets too smokey, fast food well we all know how that is and the service is starting to go down hill in a lot of places. Cracker Barrel is good but we need more choices...

May I suggest a motto for a banner in front of Kite's? "Kites: Recommended by Cardiac Surgeons"

why are you palying like you eat healthy? Tony you are a bit of a fat ass that dosnt appear to be passing up fried foods or desserts. or are you gonna claim your personal wieght issues are related to medical issues not poor diet habits.

I had a chance to try Kite's over teh weekend. I can't wait for them to be open full time! With only 5 food items they were great!

I'm sorry Tony I know how hard you tried to avoid the temtations of having a Kites in Junction City, but you don't have to go in public and eat the food we all know you love. You can still condemn Kites here on Topics and pretend you are at home eating a salad, but lets face it you didn't get a body like that because you love working out.

I have no "temtation" to eat at a place loaded with grease. Help yourself and die young, if you like.

Thats a little f**ked up Tony, remember as much as we torment each other here when others made comments about your wife I stuck up for you and her both, because your wife is a nice lady and I think she would disapprove of you dragging my wife into this.
So for todays comments you recieve a frowny face, and low marks for playing well with others.
I would exspect that in the future you would attack me directly, because its more fun that way.

Just ate at Kites. Gotta tell ya, food was great, service was excellent and very friendly, and prices were fair. Come on JC. We have complained that we need a good place to eat and now we have it. Lets all make sure Rusty makes it here. Good luck to you Rusty. Keep up the good work. This place already has Coaches beat in my opinion.

Not hard to beat Coaches. Like the saying goes it is hard to fall out of bed when you are sleeping on the floor. Nothing against kites as a mater of fact I would expect that, as Kites is in markets were you have to be good or you are out of business. I suspect Coaches could be better but they don’t have to as they are the only game in town.
