Oh, boo-hoo! Poor Deaneric Dupas can't handle being in prison where he is the victim every day. Well isn't that just a beotch? By the way Deaneric, whose beotch are you?

You want out of prison early? May I suggest suicide?

This was one of the most heinous crimes I have ever read about. What that poor girl suffered in her last hour of life was unfathonable. From what I remember, Dupas was one of the worst. That fat slop should be sitting on death row, imo, not asking for sentance reductions which are a waste of tax dollars and the courts time.

He also lied (minor compared to his other acts) and told her mother he had seen MaryAnn around town when she was dead. And he wanted leniency?
May they all rot in jail.

The story of Maryanne Measles touched my heart. God bless her family.

I am so happy to hear that the superior court has rejected Dupa's bid for a shorter sentence. I don't care if he was truthfull during testimony, the bottom line is that he did nothing to stop it. Justice did not fail Maryanne.

Maryanne was a beautiful girl who hung with the wrong crowd. I believe that Maryanne is an angel above watching over her sisters.

The story of this murder broke my heart. I can't bear the thought of what that poor girl went through in her last hour, and I can't bear what her mother must go through, every minute of every day for the rest of her life. I am outraged that one of these animals would even THINK he deserves a shorter sentence.

You know now that I think of it I wonder why they didn't all receive the death penalty.

Maryann suffered alot before she died and therefore I feel strongly that they were all candidates for death penalty.

Does anyone here know why they didn't get it??

I didn't expect to see this still around.Only dean and Allen walters were charged with capital felony murder charge, which carries the death penlty.They took her last breath.They both pleaded and in return most likely spared thier life. Our system is messed up and I learned that sitting through the trial of Kieth Foster, he got 110 years without the capital charge.By the way Maryann was my niece.The prosecutors and investigators did an outstanding job with this case and we are very thankful.
