$4m Sick Land Deal

This Really Pukes Me Out Man !!!

Union County Hospital buys $4M worth of land from the msvl mayor ladies company, Scotts ?????
Then theres these public officials lying about what a great deal it is ?
This deal involves over 90 acres of land ($44,444 per acre). There's no planned use for the purchase ?
Is the hospital going in with their new neighbor Lee farms? The hospital has less than 20 acres now, the newer Super Wal-Mart has less than 25 acres.
WHY does the union county commisioners tell us that $4M for 90 acres of polluted ground, with no future is a "good deal?"

Someone needs to take a god dam good look at theirselves in the mirror.

it really is outrageous. There use to be a prominent doctor in Marysville that told his patients that Scotts had polluted Marysville's water table. One can only imagine how polluted that land is. I would never go to a hospital located on that land. I agree that there is some kind of hanky panky involved in the price of that land.

After a quick look at this parcel #

on the countys real estate website ,its clear that the taxes have jumped from about $5,500 in 2000 to $20,000 in 2008.It looks like this land is zoned and taxed industrial use. The county will be losing all taxes generated from this highly taxed parcel. The total market value of this 90 acres of raped to death dirt with a couple little pump houses, of no use to the county, is $891,520.
So Scotts is selling it for over 4 times its market value, they will get use of it, tax free, and these county quacks are saying what a bargain it is, even though they have no plans for the land?
This deal should NEVER happen.

And while on the internet looking at how land rich the city of marysville and the school district are, to think anyone would vote yes to increase their operating revenue is so wacked.

This sick land deal was done Dec.1st. The transfer is listed on the web. This is the sickest god damm abuse of office on a local level I have ever seen.
For people to become robber barons , stealing the taxpayers blind for personal profit is just ate up.
