I think you will find that members of the "Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy" drive SUVs, have nice house that use more than their "fair share" of electricty similar to the hot air master, Al Gore.

No, to this expansion?
No, to the building of a new or expanded nuke plant?
Who are these people?
Hey, why don't they volunteer to pedal a bike with an eco-friendly rubberband attached to a generator?

Electricity providers say plan would raise prices

http://www.breitbart.com/article.php...

WASHINGTON (AP)- Consumers will face higher electricity prices if Congress passes a global warming bill without giving utilities some allowances to emit greenhouse gases, electricity providers warned Thursday.

"Revenues associated with pricing greenhouse gases would be returned to the very consumers who would be at risk for paying higher energy prices," said Richard Morgan, who leads the District of Columbia's Public Service Commission.

I think all estimates so far are way lowballed, even the MIT assertion of $3K per annum per family, closer to at least a 100 bucks per month per individual.

But, the concept of public policy "for health" is now well enshrined, in fact, used as a primary defining impetus for aforementioned policy:
"If it saves just one child, it’ll be worth it."
"Your right to pollute ends where my breathing begins."
etc,etc.

So, turn off some lights, chuck the plasma tv, wear a sweater and drive less, eat less too while you’re at it (especially animal protein based products.)

I pray this may put an end to the BSP II plant project for good. There main purpose was to get the lines built so power could be sent to Chicago at the expense of there poor & elderly ratepayers paying 30 to 40% more for rates for the next 40 years. Talk about GREED.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Sagittarius

Slow down! You're trying to do too much and it's driving you - and everyone else - up the wall. What's more, if you're in too much of a hurry you'll start to become accident-prone and that will make you even more het up. Try to take any setbacks or domestic mishaps in your stride, otherwise you'll end the day feeling like a nervous wreck.
