Teen charged in Milan death

Had the suspect been black and the victim white, there is no question that the suspect would be charged as an adult with murder. The wheels of justice still turn very slowly in the deep south, or not at all. This is shameful! NO ONE, not even the suspect,is fooled into thinking that law enforcement gives a damn about the young man who was senselessly murdered on a country road.

Milan authorities, you don't have to care, but you do have to do your job and uphold justice. The whole world is watching.

I knew this kid, I'm from Milan too. This boy and his cousin Daniel never bother people, these guys do not go around making trouble. These white guys in this town they love to make trouble. And this kid being released??? There is no justice in Telfair county. If that boy was black then he would still be in jail and would have been charged for more than this white kid is being charged with. This makes me glad that I moved to north georgia...getting away from all that racism...these people make me sick. but much goes out to th Wilcox family and their friends, someone is thinking of you and feels your pain. I can only hope that justice is served and this little punk is put away so he cant run someone else son, cousin, brother and friend over and just leave in the the street to die. Come on telfair WAKE UP, the one's that you are accusing and locking up ARENT the problem...it's your racist punks who are making trouble so why dont you wake up and see this instead of locking up these boys who are sticking to themselves and their friends, staying out of the streets and not doing the drugs that these white men are!!!

What would you do if you had a large number of people standing around your truck beating on the window and trying to get you out. Fear for your life and leave!!! It is what you do in america when you follow the law. Leave!!! If this person was crazy enough to stand in front of a truck on purpose, then he got what he deserved. "95% of the men in jail is black" Why is this? I do not any law enforcement officers that lock up people that are doing like they should. If you get a job you will not have time to get in trouble. "If he was your son what will you want to happen to him." I teach my son to treat people like people and be nice. If this boy had been raised like he should have. He would still be alive today. Why was he out at 2 or 3 in the morning? Mabe you should ask his mother and father. Are they around?

FYI, the 'kid' had his friends in there with him as well. I wasnt there to see it go down, still no damn excuse to plow over him. He could have eased his way up out of there and they woulda stepped back so you wouldnt be runnin over their feet. and why wasnt the stuff the kids in the truck said during the confentation earlier brought up 4 the public to see. either way, it still gave him no right to kill that boy & also when did this so called riot take place eh? Dj and Glendon and maybe a friend or two had to walk across town to get to that store because someone burnt Aden's down. They meet up with each other again there at flash. Okay now tell me this...what was the boys in the truck saying or doing to get at wilcox and his friends again. Maybe it was 'them' that couldnt take their spanking huh? When they saw that shit got ill and they popped off one to many times and was about to have to back their shit up they wuss out. And 2 the former lumber city dude, dont say all of that.
