Big Deal. I used to work there and the profit they made by selling re-loaded ammunition and other range fees, hearing protectors that amplified the noise instead of reducing it, and safety glasses that a BB could penetrate and the ventilation system that consists of a couple of attic fans (way to go OSHA), if it weren't the fact that Jerry the Owner is pretty cool, the Staff there should've expected this for a long time...it was just a padlock.I hope they recover the firearms for Jerry's sake but they should hold the staff accountable under the law since there is a gun safe, but the Plexiglas for the Rentals? Connect the dots...I did.

Sorry to hear this, but not neccessarily surprized. I hope they get the sumbags before the weapons are used in a crime, but I realize that's not very likely. I'll be over soon to spend some money and I encourage others to show some support also.

What they didn't tell the public is that their "Rental Guns", that are not locked up in the gun safe is that they also have Automatic weapons to rent. Unfortunately, these are now on the street. Jerry should have replaced the "Manager" for all his 30 some years on this Earth and his laziness, could have prevented something like this a long time ago.

When Anacostia was a beautiful place to live and the streets were clean and you could walk home from the A-8 Livingston bus day ot night, and the main cross streets were Nichols Ave & Good Hope Rd.
Oh, Excuse me..."handguns, pistols, revolvers" are all Handguns you Idiot!

The only good thing about the whole incident is that Chesterfield County Police may have taken the report, but the State Police will launch it's own investigation along with a thorough investigation by ATF (BATFE), including negligence by employees at the firing range.

I've been trying to get over there to practice with a recently purchased gun. Have not heard many favorble comments about the place and this recent theft doesn't help. Didn't they have another about a year or so ago - 40+ weapons stolen? SAD!

Yiiippeee!!! More guns for our streets. Well damn I hope I do not get shot with one of these things. Hate to be shot with a stolden gun. Kind of reminds me back forty or so years ago when guns were, depite lack of control, harder to come by and a then rare robbery of a 7-11 was committed by a guy with a rusty shotgun! Now we get the Ak knockoffs and glocks. Yeah safer in the old days when rusty shotguns were in vogue. Of course, there were the glory days of choppers in the mob and Lester Gillis, aka Baby Face Nelson. Yeah, some things sound better. Well, we wish the ATF and the police luck. Even a few guns off the street and out of the hands of nutcases will help.
