This is ridiculous! No matter how much you make, it's going to get to the point that you have to work 2 jobs in order to make ends meet. Everything has gone up immensely with no sight in the future of anything decreasing down to the normal. After awhile we all will be walking around looking like the 3rd world countries at the rate gas, utilities, food, etc. are soaring upward.

We Seniors just can't win!!!! Get a very tiny raise in the S.S. check and they take take take and then some!!! They give nothing! At least thet could give the older people a discount. We let our jobs so they can get one and they couldn't care less. It's a crime!

I knew it would not be long before power companies began to request a rate hike. One is sympathetic to costs of a company to run its business, but the price of fuel and power is great and society is being taxed by wasted efforts on poorly chosen alternative fuel ideas - i.e. ethanol. Dominion VA Power needs to collaborate with other power/fuel entities to find a beneficial power/fuel alternative and additional power saving methods to assist themselves and everyone. I guess I am going to be sweating more this summer than staying cool.

Well, we are going back to how they lived in the "good old days" - grow your own food - supermarket's too expensive, mend clothing instead of buying new - gasoline's too expensive to drive to the store - read by candlelight and throw wood on the fire to stay warm - electricity's too expensive. lol except it's not funny

Costs keep going up. Seems like this is the 3rd guarantee of life, behind taxes and death. I actually support the power companies - I want to make sure when I flip a switch, the light comes on dependably. Literally hundreds of ways to save on costs - just set a plan to reduce your "carbon footprint" and you'll save on your costs (please note that I'm not saying that you'll actually save money, but you won't spend as much).
