Crazy Neighbor

It makes me sick that people have to ruin this forum. This forum is for Midlothian residents to keep eachother informed. But, as always. some people have nothing better to do than to ruin it by making it a clown forum. To me, its no different than the city building this nice park for the little kids, just to have the teenage punks come in and ruin it. God forbid, there be a place that is safe to play or chat.
What happened to grown ups acting like grown ups? This is very disturbing to me as this is the world my "responsible children" are going to grow up in. It makes me sad.

All you can do is hit the "report abuse" button. I've already done it several times. Unfortunately, topix is a little slow to respond, so we're gonna have to deal with this for at least a few days. Don't worry, he'll be gone soon.

Port St. Lucie is a beautiful little town on the east coast of Florida, just north of the West Palm. When I was growing up there it was a tiny little bedroom community made up mostly of retired northerners. I was one of the few born and bred residents. It has now become a large city with many ammenities and relatively close to the ocean. It is home to a PGA Championship Golf Village and a Club Med Village called Sandpiper. If your looking for a winter retreat, Port St. Lucie is the place to be.

I know many have said to have a video recorder ready, but with living a life that's not always as easy done as it is said. I would suggest, though a little pricey, to put full perimeter cameras on your house. While you need to make sure you don't record anyone else's property, you can record your own, which would capture MANY things. Then, yes, you CAN carry a camera around your neck or in your pocket at all times to capture other things not included on your property. That should REALLY help with local PD, and if it doesn't (while I love them and all) go over their heads......there's ALWAYS someone else to go to. If you want any help, let me know, I dealt with BS just like this in the past.

although I did read everything I would like to state because I did call out the police on this one - we had a neighbor video taping my kitchen window from his house they stated they could do nothing because it is like the is like he is sitting in his dining room watching out his window and there is nothing that can be done -

Well perhaps that's because you're supposed to do everything you can to ensure your own privacy in your own home? I honestly don't know. All I'm saying, is while you have EVERY right to keep surveilance over your own home and property, if someone else lawyered up with a 'high priced attorney' you might just want to be on the safe side & do what I suggested.

All I was doing is stating what I was told by midlothian police - no need to be so harsh. They came in my house and showed them the cameras and stated nothing they could do

These people need to get a life, they actually have that much time on their hands that they sit and video tape you in your home.It Sounds like they are peeping toms, and yet Police say there is nothing you can do.(I thought peeping into others homes was illegal?)
That must be very frustrating.

Bottom line, never let anyone chase you from your home! I'm sure if you call the police enough and have proof they have to follow through. This woman is living off your fear, If she hangs something and it's on your property, tear it down. Don't give it back to her, throw it in the garbage. Do not be afraid to leave your home. You have Insurance. Don't let her actions keep you from living your life. If you sell she wins and with this market being what it is, you lose big time. Don't act nice to her, she is your enemy. The moment she threatened your pet, the gloves should have come off. Tell her too FO the next time you see her. Give her some of the BS she has been dishing to you. Have a nice Thanksgiving!

There are 2 sides to every story..... I live near your "crazy neighbor" and have no problems (and have not been hit with one crab apple). I also know firsthand that there is some serious white trash that lives right by this person. If this is who made this post, I can understand why a mother of 3 is not happy living next to you. Granted her reactions are over the top, but I would not assume someone would get this worked up for no reason at all.

Ohh I wish you you really had a clue. You must have me confused with someone else. I have only lived in Midlothian for 3 years and let me tell you the first year was good nice and quiet neighbor. Then I make some home updates like staining MY FENCE and the CRAZY Neighbor lost it. It has BEEN HELL NOW FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS. hOW CAN YOU SAY HER REACTIONS ARE OVER THE TOP. You must be a neighbor on the other side of the street and do not know what really goes on. I put alot of money in my home and take pride in my garden and would like to enjoy life for just a bit. Just because someone has kids, It dose not give them a free pass to assult, offend, and harasse people. What house do you live in? Come over to my house for a visit and see for your self what my crazy neighbor is up too. Also you can see for youself that I live well and very far from being white trash. As for the people on the other side of crazy I know they too have had problems, but they backed down, I will NOT..........that is what the legal system is for.

If you have made recent improvements to your home and yard, I can safely say that you are not part of the household that I was referring to.

I live around the block from you. I've met the mom before and she seems completely cool to me. Which is the first reason I was a bit skeptical. Also, I know that there is a house by this lady where there is a lot of "slim shady" type characters and trashy girls hang around. I could see how that could be annoying for anyone to live by.

But, based on your response to my initial post it seems to me that you are not the type of neighbor that causes problems. In fact, I wish some of the people on my block would get out and make some of the improvements you have been doing. And, hearing that this person has problems with other neighbors shows that this person is the likely cause.

On a related note, there is someone on Hamlin who leaves their dog(s) out alot at night. I can't help but to keep thinking that your neighbors frustration could be based on something minor like that (and she is reacting over the top).

Well I know it is not my dog. I can not let my dog out in the yard due to my crazy neighbor throwing posion in my grass. Hell i wake up everything morning at 6am to her having her radio blasting in the garage funny how my bedroom window is next to her garage. No one in the garage just the radio blasting.

The world outside of our homes is stressful enough, but to have someone throwing
poison in your yard is beyond stress, that is when I would loose it
my dogs are my children, and if someone hurt my dogs I think I would go completely
nuts.
There is something mentally wrong with this person to not care about the dogs because she has a vendetta with you. She is mentally dangerous and needs some serious help.

I can only hope the the court system will see that she is mentally dangerous and get her the help she needs. If not soon, her children will suffer.

I don't have quite that situation, but my next door neighbor is in a decade+ feud with the neighbors across the street, and even theirs isn't' this bad.

Yeah, I'll join that posse. I live right off of 149th and Hamlin and this broad sounds bananas.
