Seriously? None of the stories I've read had this information.

If that is true, what a jerk. He's being portrayed as a family hero all over the nation...

Glad I read the other reviews before commenting. Initially I thought it was a wonderful story and that he was such a great step-father. However, after reading the other reviews, I have changed my mind - somewhat. I believe he must be a great step-father. Perhaps he is not such a good father. Where is the rest of the story? Always 2 sides.

This sure sheds a whole different light on this "hero". I can't imagine how difficult it must be for Amber and Kathy. Hopefully, though with an understanding step father such a you they have found a loving home. Glenn is the loser in this situation.

I have nothing against Amber and Kathy in seeing their step father and am happy for them if it brings them joy, but Glenn is a dead beat father when it comes to his own biological children.

That is truly sad. My nephew's dad has had nothing to do with him his whole life because he cannot stand my sister at all. It is a shame that parents don't utilize third parties so that they both can have time with the kids instead of shutting the door completely.

Out of curiousity how old are his biological children?

Thanks for you understanding. The children are now ages 13 & 16, and this has been going on for almost 5 years now from the short time he lived in the same state to moving to Michigan over 3 years ago. I warned him he'd lose his kids if he doesn't have a relationship with them.

They are in a wonderful enviorment now and are doing what every kid wants to do.

Man 13 and 16 is a hard enough age to begin with. Just give them all the love and attention that you can and hopefully some day they will come to terms with the fact that you and your wife cannot change their dad, that it had nothing to do with how they behaved or who they are, and it does not have to define who they will be. It is good to hear you not blame the new wife or daughter - too many people turn their anger in the wrong direction. May God bless your family.

I am Glenns wife and yes there are two sides to every story...maybe if Brent and ann were all a little up front with the whole story then you all would see things a little differently!! Their version is so far off base it isn't funny!! There is such a HUGE story here that brent and ann are not sharing, one that doesnt make them look so good either! He is far from a deadbeat dad and maybe brent you should tell the WHOLE story....Why hasn't he been able to see them???? YOU KNOW THE ANSWER TO THAT and it doesn't entail Glenn being a jerk either, you all have something to do with that...but keep painting your pretty picture if it makes you feel so important.
