That's one happy stallion. Now, if they could just find a mate for him, he'd be all set for life.(Literally!)

See, reversible vasectomies seem like a Really Good Idea to me. Yes, okay, I'm pretty sure I'm done having kids, but I'm not done with, um, "practicing".
But I also know how I am. I could change my mind. It would involve some pretty significant (and traumatic!) life changes, but it could happen. OTOH, I hope it doesn't. Still, when I realized I was done having kids, I still refused to get a vasectomy. |

Stallions are always kept in separate quarters, so why the need for the vasectomy? Sound like an experiment to me.

Sounds like an old fashioned MISTAKE, to me. ZOO employees just think they are experts at everything. If you try and warn them of a major problem, they ignore you.
(As a kid (1970's-Chicago), I saw a tiger constantly looking at a wall, and the fact that it was near a low fence. I warned zoo officials, they insulted me. A week to 10 days later, they were on the local news claiming that it WAS MY FAULT!(I did not cause a darned thing!) |

1 The stallion said "Neigh!" to the vasectomy, but they did it anyway. |

So why did these smart guys snip the horse in the first place?
The planet really does need more endangered horses |

1 They were horsing around. Now they are helping the stallion engage in horseplay. They want to foal around later as well, kick back and have a colt one. |
