They all turn to look at the helpless young, white, educated, male employee, who thinks a moment, then responds: "I think I might be gay..."

You have mentioned Irish a couple of times the last few days. Now you use the term crapola? That was his word.

Vote DEMOCRAT TODAY IN WIS.

Ayn Rand was definitely a piece of Cow Dung, on that we agree.
The philosophy and teachings of Ayn Rand are inextricably interwoven in the Republican Tea Party ideas. YOU, nor anyone else can separate Ayn Rand from the Republican Tea Party.
Ayn Rand's teachings and the teachings of Jesus Christ can NOT be reconciled.

You can NOT be a follower of Ayn Rand and a follower of Jesus Christ at the same time. That is like saying you embrace Satan and Jesus. Maybe a cartoon characterization will help you.

Bigsky007,

Non-union workers, who feel satisfied with their wages, need to consider the fact that such is not the case by accident. There was and is no free lunch. Union organizers fought and died for your right to fair wages and the creation of a strong and viable middle class, without which there is no check on the excesses of the rich and powerful. Left undefended due to the erosion of unions, your fair wages and your children’s, after you, will dive and you will be powerless to stop them. With less money going to you that means that more and more money is going to Romney, the Governor and those of their ilk to put in off shore accounts.
Workers, fighting among themselves and shooting themselves in the foot, are unilaterally disarming as they take in the snake oil being dished out by Romney, the Governor and the GOP. In this, workers are destroying their mother ship (unions). Today, many workers are showing themselves to be no smarter than those poor souls, who followed Jim Jones and his (tea?) cool-aid party into the bloody jaws of death in the jungles of Guyana. Similarly, today we see many following phony demagogues, who are, draped in the flag and shouting patriotism, proving to be no less deadly than Jones, who came dressed in the bible. The eroding middle class, their children and this country deserve much better.

A bullet from the back of a bush took Medgar Evers' blood
A finger fired the trigger to his name
A handle hid out in the dark
A hand set the spark
Two eyes took the aim
Behind a man's brain
But he can't be blamed
He's only a pawn in their game.

A South politician preaches to the poor white man
"You got more than blacks, don't complain
You're better than them, you been born with white skin" they explain
And the Negro's name
Is used it is plain
For the politician's gain
As he rises to fame
And the poor white remains
On the caboose of the train
But it ain't him to blame
He's only a pawn in their game.(typical fascist rhetoric, don't complain, you could have it worse)

The deputy sheriffs, the soldiers, the governors get paid
And the marshals and cops get the same
But the poor white man's used in the hands of them all like a tool
He's taught in his school
From the start by the rule
That the laws are with him
To protect his white skin
To keep up his hate
So he never thinks straight
'Bout the shape that he's in
But it ain't him to blame
He's only a pawn in their game.(don't fight for justice or others you hate may also benifit from your cause)

From the powerty shacks, he looks from the cracks to the tracks
And the hoof beats pound in his brain
And he's taught how to walk in a pack
Shoot in the back
With his fist in a clinch
To hang and to lynch
To hide 'neath the hood
To kill with no pain
Like a dog on a chain
He ain't got no name
But it ain't him to blame
He's only a pawn in their game.

Today, Medgar Evers was buried from the bullet he caught
They lowered him down as a king
But when the shadowy sun sets on the one
That fired the gun
He'll see by his grave
On the stone that remains
Carved next to his name
His epitaph plain:
Only a pawn in their game.
----------First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out--

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out--

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out--

Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

You response shows you are incapable of rational discussion with anyone who offers an opposing point of view. You cut and paste union propaganda, offering it up as your own words.

YOU are a great example of what the voters in Wisconsin are trying to rid themselves of today.

When Gov Walker overwhelmingly defeats the union lap dog Barrett, are you going to cry?

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Sagittarius

You're wearing rose-tinted glasses today, especially when you look at some of the special people in your life. Right now you only want to see their good points and you'll deliberately turn a blind eye to any faults that might be on show. If you can escape from the real world for a day with you-know-who you'll have a marvelously romantic and emotional time together. But do your best to come back to earth tomorrow.
