Rehab house set to open in Middleton angers neighbors

If the Citizens knew how many neighbors were not in recovery they would move out of the state.

You can't punish someone and then not let them become better folks in the community as they try and restore their lives.

It would sure be nice if some of the Religious organizations would practice some forgiveness for the fallen brothers and sisters.

For the most part recovery homes serve as a transitioning point with a stable environment that supports and reinforces their sober life style.

The State is spending money for adds warning our kids and others who might be tempted by trying Meth of just what a nightmare WILL result.

What about those that have not been so strong or fortunate to have made the right decision and have fallen into that nightmare, they have lost everything and more. Now they just want a place to begin again, they know all too well what their addiction has done, and will do to them if they can’t recover.

I know as a Parent that you don’t want a bad influence in their neighborhood that potentially will lead to utter tragedy. I used to live across the street from a house sheared buy several College Roommates. Believe me; I would have preferred a half-way house.

On the other hand, what if you could make a difference? What if by explaining to the children what has happened to these people, and how their choices caused them and society problems. Now they are going to work at making changes- they have hope where there was none, and they desire to be not just good people, but better friends, neighbors, and employees.

These people do not want to get away with anything, they just ask for a chance. No one who is even perceived as a threat would get the opportunity to be your neighbor. The Probation/Parole Departments do not want any potential problems to affect the quality of life in any neighborhood. Participants would have no violent criminal history or potential for concern.

There is an old saying,“If you want to make friends, be a friend.” Get to know the new neighbors, make them comfortable- I am willing to bet that they would do anything to maintain the precious serenity of you neighborhoods- more then you will even know.

The real issue here is do we want people in our communities who do not dring or take drugs? C'mon folks- admit it, you don't have anything to say to a sober person. Oh you say you would? Well that's all it is dumb paranoid people! And they arn't their to NARK on you neither- that's already taken care of any other agencies, and beside who is going to profit rifling through trash that has no aluminum bear cans to recycle?

I will let you in on a dirty (in public perceptional stigmatized sin mindedness) big secret- these people are your mothers & fathers, sisters & brothers, and your children! You should be ashamed of yourselves down to the very core of your beings! Oh I get- in Idaho, the Pharisees travels at night.

I couldn’t help noticing all the nifty renovations on the Capital. You know my feelings are that we could save allot of money by renovating the Political joke they call Democracy here in Spudville.
