great church with nice people! They have a great youth program for the kids!

If it was the same people there that's not a good church to go to the kicked my family out for being married to brian brooks cause his mom was the big shot of the church and if she goes there then if she don't like you they will tell you to leave

If you are speaking of the one on 38th & Winchester I grew up in that Church. It was a great place and seeing how it is the House of the Lord it is still a great place. Never heard of or known any Brooks being "big shots" at the church. And never known or heard of ANY church being able to kick anyone out. Do not go downing God and his house!!!!!!

Then your Saying if I come back to that church they won't tell me to leave again I better print this out and take it with me and say a member told me I can come again and watch they will kick me out again and this happiend in 2006 how long have you been there

No Church can kick anyone it out...it is GOD's house. I think it is very sad that you have nothing better to do then try and disrepect God by making such a post. I have been going there for 30 years!!

I am previously a resident of Middlesboro, and my two girls use to go to that church. It was a wonderful church to go to, the members were always very nice at welcoming me whenever I came to the children's programs and events. They never made me feel out of place or uncomfortable. They even came to pick my children up every Sunday and Wednesday for church. If our family was ever in need of anything they were always there to help us, and I wasn't even a member of their church - my children were. We still go to their Trunk or Treat at Halloween time every year and they are always so happy to see all of us, just like we never moved away. I agree with some of you, it IS A DISGRACE that people get on here and talk bad about churches. If you don't like a certain church, then DON'T GO TO THEIR SERVICES!!! It's not written anywhere that you have to go to a certain church.....have some respect!

Churches are the houses of God. However, they can and DO ask people to leave. Different churches have different reasons, but it certainly does happen.

The first time I remember going to the old church,I walked from the Belt line with my cousin and my grandfather all the way to church back about 1960. My grandfather was a preacher and has been dead many years now and my cousin lives in Oklahoma.Had blisters on my feet doing all that walking in a little pair of pat and leather shoes.But its a good memory.I have been back up there several time since then and I have always enjoyed the service.I may try to go back again Sunday if its the good Lords will.

Maybe u got kicked out cuz ur a bitch!!!. It's not brians or his mom fault u got kicked out maybe u shouldn't of done what u did !!!!!!!!!!

No legit Church can kick anyone out and Old Yellow Creek is one of them. The members do not own the Church. Can you imagine how disappointed and hurt the Lord would be to hear someone was kicked out of his house? So sad that this person has to lie to have something to talk about. Whatever your problem is pray about it don't make fake posts about it!

I was saved and baptized at that church many of years ago. Me and my grandma and my aunt and uncle and his family went every Sunday. I have alot of fond memory's of that church.

A little over 20 yrs. ago yellow creek not only kicked out a pastor in a very public and shameful manner for no reason other than some members didn't like him. They also dismissed, if you will kicked out 70+ members who dared to stand by the pastor.

I can't speak for them now but they have kicked people out in mass before.

To an x family member and his wife that have gone to OYC for many years and claim to be Christians..."Is your conscience clear?" If so, God hasn't dealt with you yet, but He will. Yes the church did kick Paula brooks out for getting married to Brian cause his mom didn't like the idea of him getting married to him and the church kicked her whole family out for it just leave it alone this happend like 4 years ago or so its done and over with if the church don't like you then they will throw you out and that's the bottom like
