I would like to say that we, the parents need to make sure our voice is heard in the issue of rebuilding the baseball area here in town. We have an outside company working with the town board right now. It is still our job to make sure the future of our baseball is around even if you don't have kids playing, because one day you might have grandkids to watch play, but it won't be in our town if we don't speak up. Please make an effort to go to the board meetings.

I grew up in Kempton, and I remember, Frankfort, Tipton, Kokomo, Cicero and Kempton having Little League, Babe ruth and legion ball. Now it is all disappearing, and it's a shame parents, grandparents and communities need to get involved and breath some life back into baseball, at least on the under 15 crowd. Born in 1958, lived in kempton until 1978.

Daily Horoscope for November 29

Cancer

If you've been troubled lately, now's the time to seek a friend's counsel. Even just a little tea and sympathy will be nice, so plan to have lunch with someone simpatico. Everyone needs to spend a little time with someone who won't judge them; Cancer is often wonderful at giving this sort of unconditional affection but often has a harder time seeking it out. Accept a little TLC... you need it now.
