2 killed, 1 hurt in I-95 crash

this saves society a huge bill

It will save tax payer money but it must leave a feeling of emptyness with the victims family and friends. They dont get the chance to face him in court. They dont get a chance to put it to rest. Maybe it's the revenge thing but if it happened to someone in my family, I want to know that he died for his crimes and not an accident.

How come OPD could not find him? Seems like he was crusing around with his friends.

Can't say I agree with your "Revenge" angle. Personally, I would be tickled to death that the thug was killed in a car accident. If he'd been apprehended by the cops and stood trial, the state Attorneys office would probably plea bargain his case down to 2nd degree for a full confession, he'd get 25-30 years, out in 12-15 for good behavior if not sooner. The "Kiss of death" against that Ponderosan pine tree was probably the best thing that could of happened to the bereaved family and certainly for the Orange County taxpayer!

It seems odd that the case is closed. If they are 100% sure he did it, why wasn't he arrested back in January when the murder happened? I think this is an easy way out!

I think that this was a terrible way for my cousin to die and his girlfriend mercedes, and my friend tay to get hurt...I feel that since none of you know him personally you should all shut up..and keep your comments to yourself...

Why should we have sympathy for a murderer? He got what he deserved. At least our tax money doesn't have to be wasted on him. The person who was murdered by him died in a terrible way, too.

Seriously though, what type of idiot is going to take their life, along with two others into their OWN hands by attempting to pass a Mack truck on the emergency shoulder? That is a selfish and purely stupid act. I taught Mercedes and will have to say that I am so very sorry hear this news. May God bless her little soul.

Mercedes was my best friend and she was very smart n out spoken,what happened to them shouldnt have but at least i know her mind, body, and soul is at ease.

I highly agree with NeNe, Since none of you know these people. I for one do not think it is right to judge any of them and make such rude comments. Seeing as how I've known both Mercedes Yvette Bass and Tayontae Lashon Banks since our early high school days. They were both great people. None of you know anything about they're personal lives and what was going on with them at home or anywhere else and i just feel that it is wrong to talk and/or make such awful jokes about them.

Life is short, all you can do is live it to the fullest and praise god because you just never know when your life expires.

R.I.P Mercedes- I'll always remember you for who you were and not what others thought of you.
