And fought by Cubans. Would have went better if the force was French vice Cuban.
That is what I like about the Cuban Americans though, you quit when you know you are beat. One try and you where done.

I sadly must agree with you as much as it sickens me.

The Bay of pigs men fought incredibly well and took a massive toll on Castro's men but in the end they were betrayed by Kennedy (I would not say the USA), the plan had flaws due to the CIA and even if the brigade had breached the coast and made it inland at the time the people still supported Fidel so doubt the support they wre counting on would have surfaced.
Add to that a spy in the brigade which the CIA did not spot.

The brigade itself did all they could even with CIA errors and Kennedy looking the other way when air support was being screamed for.

"The Bay of Pigs invasion met its ignominious end on the afternoon of 19 April 1961. Three days after the force of Cuban émigrés had hit the beach, the CIA officers who planned the assault gathered around a radio in their Washington war room while the Cuban Brigade's commander transmitted his last signal. He had been pleading all day for supplies and air cover, but nothing could be done for him and his men. Now he could see Fidel Castro's tanks approaching. "I have nothing left to fight with," he shouted. "Am taking to the woods. I can't wait for you." Then the radio went dead, leaving the drained and horrified CIA men holding back nausea."

To now replace Castro with a corrupt TYPICAL Miami Cuban politician is simply changing one Cuban criminal for another , much like Hialeah politics.

One of the slaps across the face of the Bay of pigs men is the NEVER ENDING assembly line of corrupt "and/or" self serving Miami Cuban politicians, officials, police which has only shown how Cubans whether in Cuba or Miami can not govern.

I respect the Bay of pigs men but not the "Cuba libre" bunch which have ridden on their backs while suppporting professional Miami Cuban crooks in Miami politics.

To fight for a cause and than have your ilk do this while screaming about Castro is sad-

"The Cubans have proven repeatedly that they cannot govern without turmoil and rampant corruption"

ZERO political, police standards is what you see here.

Putting aside food lol, if not for the Anglo feds this place would be CUBA 2 as far as trecherous corrupt Cuban politicians who would refuse to have fair elections and leave office.

As is voter fraud by Cuban politicians, officials is rampant here. Even their families get involved.

"Ex-Hialeah Mayor Julio Robaina's Uncle Arrested for Ballot Fraud"

A second arrest has been made in a now expanding case of absentee ballot voter fraud, and the latest suspect has some interesting family connections.

# I HIGHLY doubt that anything will come of this because officials, ex politicians will pull Miami Cuban strings to have this dropped or plea bargained to nothing.

If he was NON Cuban he would rot in jail .

I am a rata y soy sucia, fea y cobarde pero I have never said a negative thing about those who actually fought in Bay of Pigs .

My problem has always been with the Corrupt Miami Cuban machine which is wall to wall with con artist "Cuba libre" politicians but NONE are Bay of Pigs men just self serving corrupt Miami Cuban political "Cosa Nostra".

That is the problem with us because honest, honorable people are for the most part (not always) not involved in politics.

Cherokee for Miami Mayor
fredy for commissioner would be our salvation.
