Review: Certified Mobile Tech

I called this mechanic and he responded within 1-1/2 hrs. He came to my home and quickly replaced my battery. He did this with the utmost professionalism. He took the time to explain everything that he was doing and offered money saving tips and car care advice. I was also having a problem with my other car and asked him to take a look at it. He did so without hesitation and he promptly fixed it. There was no high pressure sales job, just good old fashioned customer service. I was thoroughly impressed and will definitely call him again. I will also pass his name on to my peers, neighbors, friends and relatives.

Mr Talavera when I found in the yellow pages responded promptly and courteously. When he showed up to give me and estimate for the repairs on my car, he explained thoroughly the cost and the lobor fees, I told him I would call him back after a comparison. I then call discount auto for pricing on the part and found that mr. Talavera's pricing was accurate and fair. I called him back, he came and fixed my car and has been my personal mechanic ever since. It's a pleasure to find someone you can trust in the dog eat dog world, especially when you take your car to the dealers and have to pay 200% more than what is necessary. So my recommendation is that if you find someone like Mr. Talavera please keep him as your mechanic, you may have to put up with his idiosyncrasies but it's worth it.

Pedro is absolutely stellar on all counts. I found him after trying many other mechanics who could not solve my car problem. Not only did he fix it, he did it extremely quickly. I called Pedro around 9am one morning from work as my engine was overheating. He showed up in less than an hour and within five minutes, he was able to give me an estimate. He went for the required parts and came back within 30 mins and the car was completely fixed by mid day. He even changed my oil free of charge. I have a 2004 Porsche Carrera. The dealer wanted a lot for a battery plus I needed to tow the car there, about $200.00 for that plus about another $250.00 for the battery. Luckily I found Pedro from CMT on Backpage. He came the same day, did the battery and even checked my alternator (it was ok, than God) the same day and for less.

I was on my way to a Christmas eve church service and my car, a Toyota corolla 2003-manual transmission, stopped in the middle of the road! The engine was still running, the battery seemed OK, the gas tank was full, the tires were almost brand new for the most part. I tried to put some gas but the wheels were just not turning at all and I kept hearing this very loud metal squeaky rubbing noise coming from the left tire I believe. The cops came, I called a tow truck and was on my way home, I didn't enjoy my Christmas eve (missed a great party that night) and I was 120 dollars short!(cost of towing on a holiday like that). Missing My Tech. When I lived in Miami,FL Certified Mobile Tech did all the repairs on my cars. I'm now living north central Florida. I recently had a hitch installed with the biggest U.S. installer of hitches. You might know them, I think they rent moving trucks. I called them gave my vehicle info. & they said they had it in stock. On my first appt. I arrived only to find out the hitch was for a different model. Not a problem, everbody makes mistakes, right. They apologized & said the correct one would come in about 3 days. After I called them to confirm if my hitch had arrived, I was on my way to the second visit to there shop. When I arrived it turned out they had the correct hitch for my model, but it was not for a GT. Information which I specified everytime I called. Then they asked me if I customized my car by installing dual exhaust. Mind you this is a national U.S. installer. I told them the GT has factory dual exhaust and they could call the dealer to confirm. By this time I was fustrated & asked to speak with a manager. Once again he apologized & said he was going to take care of it personaly. After arriving at the shop for the third time, they finally had the hitch. It took them about 2 hrs. to install it. By this times I couldn't believe that I was finally getting my hitch. I guess this is why I did not mind standing around the shop for 2 hrs. This is when I started MISSING MY TECH. I actually called him I told him what I went thourgh. I told him how much of a convience his company was to me. I could have been in the confort of my own home while he was working on my car. Instead of some waiting room, bored waiting. After jokily saying he was going to offer his services in central Florida, he told me about posting a review for his services. And here it is. Certified Mobile Tech has serviced my cars for 15 years. In this time he has always done outstanding work.

I can think of no better mechanic to recomend. He's fast,honest, professional and always on time. He doesn't take all day to do the job and he let's you know exactly what he's doing, what needs to be done and what it's going to cost before he completes the job. Mr. Talavera is on my speed dial. He's my "911" when my car needs help.

Pedro and his son were great! From the initial phone call (courteous and efficient) to the speed of the repair (that same day) to the workmanship (his sensitivity to the particular nuances of my car) to his general disposition (patient and polite). The entire experience was A+- they diagnosed and replaced my battery in under 30 mins!- I would recommend them to anyone. My only complaint: he needs to re-register his Web site.
