the only reason production is up is due to the fact the drilling is taking place on private property where Odumbo and his fools have no control. Production on government land is down as is prodution off shore...as usual the big earred Kenyan occupier is lying through his teeth,

Not only is the US exporting more fuels then ever, They are making bigger profits by doing it.
Last year more refineries closed in the US then ever before. The oil companies have closed many older unprofitable refineries.

The reason for the exporting has been natural gas. Natural gas is used to cook the crude oil into the various products we use for fuel.
With cracking and horizontal drilling techniques being used now the USA can produce gasoline and diesel fuels cheaper than bay other nation. Mexican gas costs more to make then US gas.
So why do we have to go up to $5 a gallon?
Corporate greed perhaps?

Very-very strange that the lefty loons and the MSM that were blaming Bush when the gas prices went up while he was president aren't saying or blaming Obama now, double standards?? Why would that be??
See post #2.
Yes we were blaming him because of his stupid boondoggle in Iraq didn't reduce the price of oil.
His secret energy task force meeting with oil executives in his 2nd week in office.
It still didn't do anything.
He must given James Rouse and Kenny Lay a B.J. but now James was gone and Kenny boy was dead.
So then we laughed as he kissed the saudi prince and begged the saudi's to increase oil production.

Why is anyone surprised that fuel prices are high?

Isn't this what Obama promised?

"Coal-powered plants, you know, natural gas, you name it, whatever the plants were, whatever the industry was, they would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money. They will pass that money on to consumers." - Obama

Energy is energy.
Raise the cost of one type (electricity), and the rest follow suit.
.
.
BTW, Obama cannot take credit for any successes in energy production. Most new drilling is on PRIVATE lands, and has been planned since before Obama took office.

Why does he need to worry about the price of gas? Were the ones paying for him to go do what ever the hell he and his hag wants! How does making more cars green do any good? If you can't afford the Price of gas what makes this Idiot think you can afford a new freaking car that cost $40,000? So you buy a Volt but now electric is going up due to high gas prices how does that help any of us? If This Bastard wanted to really help Americans with the Price of gas He could and should put a price cap on it now and say Gas can no longer go above $3.00 a gallon! That's how you help American not by gouging them!

Obama has been gassing the USA citizens since 2008, with his fake hope and change nonsense that the voters chose to believe. They are now finally waking up huge gas increases, an presidentially opposed pipe line, and all the blunders Obama has continued to promote since the inexperienced, unqualified puppet of the corrupt Chicago Democratic Machine took office. He needs to be voted out in November!!!

He isn't even smart enough to fire the people that are running his relection quest.Maybe he thinks that he will just be voted back in because he is so loveable and his "subjects" won't see all of his failures.HEY MR.OBAMA,the people has seen thru your anti-American agenda and don't like what they see,bye-bye.

LOL!!! You criticize the President's candidacy with those three bozos contending for the Republican nomination. Let's see what you offer:

Mitt Romney? LOL!!! Good luck!

Mr Newt? LOL!!! Only 33% of his wives like him; never mind his former colleagues in the House, never mind American voters.

Ricky Sanatorium? LOL!!! Anti abortion, anti birth control, loony-tunes Catholicism; he'll do well to win the mainstream Catholic vote.

Your best bet is Ron Paul. Can't wait for the foreign policy debate or the global economy debate with the President.

If you teabaggers were smart, you'd focus on nominating a worthy and viable opponent.

If... LOL!!!

I wish the Democrats had made it possible to have more choices than the One. He will go down in history as the worst president this country had. Just wait and see.

In 2008, they said even a CLOWN could beat any Republican, since everyone seemed to be disgusted with George W Bush's presidency. So they elected a CLOWN...CLOWNBAMA...an inexperienced, unqualified incompetent to "Make History" with a fake hope & change fantasyl. The voters have lived with that gross mistake for almost 4 years, and only the people too ignorant to pay attention have continued to worship him. Wake up and smell the snakeoil he's been selling you, you fool! ANYONE would be worth taking a chance on, after almost 4 years of Obama Blunder!!!

We should have made a sand box out of that place and turned all the stray cats loose over there. Hope we still might be able to do it.

Ah, our President is only approaching halftime! It's going to be a second term for Barack H Obama, largely due to a weak Republican field (and not enough Ron Paul backers).

Fortunately Jon Huntsman didn't catch on. He was a genuine, sane conservative that could win independent voters.
