Una nueva encuesta del Miami Herald, el St. Petersburg Times y Bay News 9 subraya cuán grande es aún la sombra de Bush sobre la Florida, casi tres años depués de dejar la gobernatura estatal: 46 por ciento de los encuestados dijo preferir el liderazgo de Bush hoy, mientras el 41 por ciento se mostró a favor de Crist.

Por otro lado, y más sorprendente, el 71 por ciento de los republicanos votaría hoy por Bush para gobernador, mientras sólo el 22 por ciento lo haría por Crist. "¿Hay ahí una ruta hacia la victoria para Marco Rubio?". "Sí, pero está muy ligado al apoyo de Jeb Bush", precisa el encuestador Tom Eldon.

"Crist habrá nombrado al último senador, pero Bush tiene en sus manos la designación del próximo", aseguró.
