What is going on with mchs football? Stoner I thought was the quaterback, he is a good passer, what happened to him? Players not playing, is one playing in Paducah? Massac had one of the best passing offenses in Illnois, a couple of years ago! Things just don't seem right.

Stoner quit and is going to school at Joppa. Almighty Glass is letting Amos qb. That should be a joke. And jordan jarell Johnson moved to tilghman. Good choice there. Least he will be on a winning team. Massac is old, Glass is old. Move on with it. Youth movement

<quoted text> Yes they were great high school players and they both did have offers but did not want to play football after high school. Bailey wanted to play basketball which he is still doing and Kester wanted to start his career!!! Both earned to be 1st team all-staters!!!
Yea but at WKCTC. I wish he would play major college ball. He is good.

It's hard to pick one single player, since the really good players, played different positions. Some could do things the others could not do. A running back, receiver, linebacker, quaterback, they are ones that have had outstanding seasons. How do you pick one over the other

The abletts were scoring every TD last game against AJ, this jv team will bring MASSAC a state champ in the next 2 years!

Bj kenney rushed for over 500 yards in two games. He was a 250lb tailback who ran a 4.5 40 in full gear. Try and tackle that monster.

I watched the J.V. team play the other night. I have to say I was really impressed. They actually busted their ass and looked like they wanted to play football. The Freshman team is also good. Dalton Mitchell is a stud at receiver and also I was impressed with a Morris kid that runs the ball extremely well. I am looking forward to football at Massac in the next few years. We need to get back to what football was like here in the late 90's and early 2000's.

Gotta say a couple guys are some of the tops. Jamario Thomas and Shane Doyle. I blocked for the both of them and when they hooked up on an outside sweep or anything well it was a forsure six. Even if they ran solo they would run anyone over or juke em outta their shoes.

FRESHMEN AND JV means nothing absolutly nothing!!! These kids will not bring state champs So Ill alone may not see a state championship unless Marion or DuQuoin Goes back!!! WHen massac was great they only made it to the elite 8!!! People open your eyes and look and see how many SOUTHERN ILLINOIS TEAMS THAT HAVE PLAYED FOR A SHIP VERY FEW......... Massac has no talent!!!!!!

Pay attention you moron!!! There is plenty of talent and all of these boys play with their hearts!!! All the ones I know, personally have all intentions of playing throughout high school so YES, RETARDS...if they stick with it, we will have an awesome varsity in a few short years. Obviously you have NOT been to any games this year!?!?!?! Freshman are UNDEFEATED, RETARDS and JV have only lost ONE game!!!! I don't have to sit and argue my point with you though, I will just sit back and watch the boys and enjoy every minute of it instead of bashing a bunch of kids who play with all they have!!!!!

I agree with you that they were good running backs. But they didnt hold a candle to the late 90's duo of Boswell and Roundtree Or late 80's Crim and Neal. No comparison

Upcoming classes have alot of talent but they must...i emphasize must get into the weight room. YOu have no idea how important it is within the next year that these kids bust it in the weight room. Someone at the school needs to step up and hold each kid accountable for reps in the weightroom. That is a big difference i see from now and ten years ago.

In my day Coach Crim stood in the weight room like a Hawk and watched us. If we tried to skip a set he noticed. Lol dont know how he did but he'd always catch us. If he caught us we knew it would be hell on earth so we lifted. Its painful to watch a program struggle that you care so much about. Blood, Sweat, and tears were all shed out there by me and many others over the years.its a sick feeling to watch the program I'm proud of to get manhandled like they have been. Theres alot of pride that goes with talking about your school that you came from and the team. Coach Glass and the whole staff I support 100%. I just hope that it gets turned around soon.
