This is a bunch of crap! Jane Doe decides to come out 30 years later and cause trouble for this wonderful couple enjoying retirement with their grand-kids. If in fact she was touched or whatever...why wait till u are almost 40 to do anything about it...im sorry, but there should be some statute limitations on this.

I agree with you 100 percent, this is some money hungry person who is trying to disrupt this wonderful couples lives. I have known them a very long time and have nothing but the highest respect for the accused. I hope when this is said and done he sues them for slander.

I have known Darryl Bentson for 3 decades. I was a kid in his neighborhood, a football player he coached, and a co-worker with him after he left the school system. He is a good person, no doubt! This story seems strange. I hope his name is cleared quickly and does not tarnish his retirement years.

The accuser remains annonomous (might not have spelled it correctly) the news report called her jane doe. Ive heard a couple names, but dont want to post. My heart breaks for the couple having this kind of drama this late in life.

Mr Benson likes little girls. Likes to touch and call them fat, according to channel 6. Must be something to it if they got rid of him??? He was weird, but so was Mr Brewer (I dont think he touched girls though). There will be more that comes out. "no name either" and "Flabbergasted" may want to find a new friend. Unless you like your girls young, then keep on keeping on.

Sex offenders don't reform so I don't think its ever too late to come out. That is why we have a legal system.

Well he left the school district because he was hired at USEC. ( a better paying job) and channel 6 reported that some abuse happened in the girls locker room at Franklin, Jane Doe must be hallucinating because Franklin does not have a girls locker room now or Twenty seven ago. Hmmm.....

I don't know much about the legal system, but I would think that he would have to know who is accusing him. Jane Doe is prob just for the public?
