What about mine? The courts have let him go 6 times after I filed for contempt. He owes me 157,000.00 and the state has done nothing to get him. They know where he lives and has for the past 20 years. My kids are 26 and 27 now and the state won't go after him now. The system is severly flawed.

Move on...your kids have and he shouldn't have to pay for your car that your new fella drives.

i agree with Master..ihave kids of my own, but if my wife told me to paid childsupport, i would tell her to eat a ****....i rather take my babys, i aint gonna let her live an easy life and take my money too...thats crazy talk mang!...WOMANS ARE GOLDDIGGERS..so freaking sad..whats has this world turn into.....GOOD DAY

Yeah my kids are in there twenties and he still owes me more that 80k in back support. they don't want to go after his now b/c the kids are grown when they were underage they would tell me they don't want to lock him up cause he can't work if he's in jail. I say 30 days locked up and he won't be late again once he gets out.

you have custody 80% of your income goes to the kids if you pay support only 33% goes to supporting your kids.

I see that the looser men that think they should only make the inital contribution and that the woman should take on the rest of the responsibilties have shown up on this forum.These are the ones that should not be allowed to reproduce

I have two children over 18 dont go to college a son who lives with me and an EX_WIFE who still gets my child support. Do you think I will ever get a dime of it back when I get my day in court to stop it. The system is one sided.

Get a friggin job all you gold diggers. Stop waiting for the check to come in! Or let the dad take the kid and you wont get anything. The system sukks! Friiggen Gold Diggers!

If you can't pay, don't play. You were there for the fun part, you need to be there for the expensive part.

All of these post are a darn good reason not to have kids..

I'll admit that I am a child of divorce....now 28 and I know that my fathre worked hard to send a check for his 2 kids that he never saw so my mom could drive a friggin jaguar. I didn't know any better than but, I do now and I can remember being hungry and home alone.

I get so angry at the though that women think they deserve money from the man. It's for the kids...NOT YOU.

I'd like to see the names posted in the Sun, say monthly, of all the "local" dead beat dads. Maybe some of them would be shamed into taking care of their children. I personally know of one guy that hasn't paid in almost 1-1/2 years and is just scoffing at the law.

First of all, I have my own car and always have. I have supported my kids by working their whole lives and I am not supporting any man, nor dating. I have moved on, but it's the point that working single parents don't get any state help. Child support inforcement is only for the one's that owe the state from the custodial parent being on government programs. If the state gets nothing from it, they don't go after them.

One more comment. At this point, with my kids grown the money does not matter, it's the principle of him living the good life while I did without so my kids could have what they needed. Money won't change anything now. An their are good dads that get screwed by the courts and their exes. I know several men who have custody and still pay child support and I doubt the courts will ever order their money back. So "what about Fathers", you do have a female following sympathetic to your plight.

The state does not go after them after the kids are grown. Try www.supportkids.com . They are very successfull in getting child support. They do take 33% of what they recover, but it's better than nothing.
