What parent would allow their 14 and 15 year old daughters to hang out with their 23 year old male cousin. Let's be happy the police made this stop. I think these little girls were in more danger than that created by drinking and driving. What was this jerks plans after getting these two minors drunk?

What a man giving beer to minors and then letting them drive. What did he want in exchange for this?

Maybe when he returns from lock up to Mesquite, the locals will tar and feather him and send him on his way.

You forgot to post a picture of him and also his place of employment.

The article mentions the 14 year old was released to the custody of her parents. I am sincerely surprised that there are two biological parents. In fact, I'd hope that was fact checked, because I have a hard time believing in this lower Rio Grande Valley culture, that there are two parents. That's part of the greater problem here. Dona Ana County is almost a parallel world: think of it as a rural version of Harlem.

That is one lucky dude getting to ride around with those two young ones. Just imagine the fun they all either had or will have.
I never had older cousins to give me such hands on training.
Must be a Hispanic culture thing?

Drunk driving without a valid license and insurance... Isn't that the routine public sport of New Mexicans?

Stop knocking the Hispanic Culture. We can go to some southern rural areas and find some white American with the same life style. We can go to the inner city ghettos and find black American living this way, or we can hit the reservations and find some Native American with the same mentality. So don't make this a race issue, it goes deeper than that. If want to play that game, lets talk about the white people that come here to NM and view the Hispanic women as their personal prostitutes. Buying them cheap gift filling their heads and hearts with promises of marriage, just to return home to marry the white girl next door. That in a weird way contributes.

Bud Light...really? Why an I not surprised. Bottles? Not a case? This seems to be the local choice of the swervers in the parking lots round town. Don't be a victim of stereotypes. Think for yourselves; the drunken fog does not make the problems disappear and will make the situations worse. See above article for proof.

Neither of those teenage girls should be allowed to have a drivers' license before the age of 21.

Driving is a privilege ... they need to wait 6 or 7 years until they are able to get a license.
