There are no winner's in this case, especially the 11 year old daughter. God rest her soul. The other children should be removed for their safety untill they are adults. Why do people continue to dis-belive what their eyes are telling them?

I pray to god that these parents come down with a serious illness where praying won't help them or stop them from suffering. let's see how long it will take them to go to the doctors.

Jesus cries every time you call yourself a Christian.

The article doesn't state whether the children are homeschooled or not, but if so then I think the judge's order to have them seen every three months by a public health nurse makes good sense. I have to commend the judge for creative sentencing. There's such a gray area when it comes to intervening on parents' rights to raise their children as they see fit, especially where practicing religion comes into the equation. When a child is sick, injured, or endangered in any way, the immediate safety, treatment, and comfort of that child trump a parent's right to pray rather than act quickly. It's my belief that God would have forgiven them their lapse of commitment to their otherwise unyielding faith, if they had chosen to call 911. I wonder what their conversations with God sound like now. Are they asking why He didn't save their child? Or are they asking for forgiveness for denying their child life-saving medical intervention?
