Does anyone remember a young man Christopher Trent? The Jeff Davis police were looking for him for molesting minors last year.

Well Chuk if you listen to his CD you would hear him admit to the crimes. If I were you I would pick my HEROS more carefully

Personally I have nothing against Chris....he's a kid with misguided views.....he's also as he says a thug...I call him a little updated gangster lol

As for the charges he owns up but doesn't call it rape well it's cardinal knowledge of a juvenile.....no matter what you think of these girls they are minors and legally they can't just consent and give it away.

In no way do I condone acts of sexual crimes, but due to the research that I have done on this particular case I must say that small towns need to be stopped. There has not been any proof that these charges will hold up in court besides the fact that J.D.P.D. wants it to. Fact: one of the charges of carnal knowledge occurred while he was already incarcerated on unrelated charges and had been so for 2 years. So who's telling the truth and who's spreading rumors?
Facts are truth and rumors are inadmissible without proof...Rumors have been flying since high school days and are now coming to the light? If these rumors have not surfaced any facts yet then I doubt that they will. The Police Dpt only feels obligated to have captured him due to the fact that he "mocked" them on a CD. There are so many artists who feel that the freedom of speech is constitutional...OH WAIT...IT IS CONSTITUTIONAL. If these rumors from high school days are still lingering in the air with no evidence and no proof then they must have been placed there by an obvious source...(J.D.P.D.). The very detective that has been trying to make this case reach court has been "let go" due to unethical conduct. But I bet that rumor is a fact. Check it out...Rumors are not my thing...Im into research and proof...Instead of gossiping and "hating" as you all say how about everybody turns into Peter Jennings and get like a reporter...Dont Rumor it Report it with evidence...No evidence no proof no witnesses no conviction. Jennings Police Department (JPD) Det. Jean Cooley has a driver’s license hanging from the visor of his police cruiser, but it isn’t his.
The license belongs to 25-year-old Christopher Trent of Jennings, a fugitive who has been eluding the law since April of 2008.

In my opinion does it not seem a bit odd that with the current cases of a serial killer on the loose and babies being found in sheds and locked in cars and the current rash of crime sprees in Jennings, La that Detective Jean Cooley is taking this particular crime a bit personally? To ride around with the Drivers License of this one said individual on the visor of his car seems a bit odd. How could there be an investigation of alleged carnal knowledge of a juvenile that has been ongoing from 2004-2009? I do understand that the evasion of authorities is not the smartest thing to do, but Christopher Trent was incarcerated (2004-2006) on "drug charges" during one of the alleged crimes. He was held on charges for 4 months in 2008 and was released on "lack of evidence." A warrant was issued April 2008 after a grand jury indicted him without he or his lawyer present but he was released from jail in April 2008 for lack of evidence? Which happened first; was he released and then indicted or indicted then released? Hmmm. Sounds a little shady. So how admissible is the second crime? Where exactly is the testimony of the alleged victim? Where is the physical evidence that the alleged act occurred? Can we say rape kit? And if one were to be performed, not to speculate the "reputation" of alleged victim, would Trent have been the only to have allegedly had intercourse with alleged victim? If the first allegation was a bust then why is there another charge being presented to court? Because the first charge would not hold up in court so in order to convict they have to have new charges because the court cannot try a person of the same crime twice (double jeopardy). The judicial system is so corrupt with personal vendettas that it seems unjust for this case to be pursued. LynDivine@blogger.com

No he denied rape! He goes on to say that they gave it up to him. If that's not admitting it, then what was he doing. It doesn't matter if they had a sign on it, they were under age and he was or suppose to be the adult. I bet if it were your daughter you would be singing a different tune. I dont have to get a clue...I have been following the case...First and foremost...How can one be charged with a crime that was committed while they are incarcerated? Second, it wouldnt be my daughter because I would have instilled morals and values within her to know better and also what kind of mother would I be if I was unaware of my daughter being sexually active? My mother knew when I became interested in boys/men because I told her. We discussed it as though we were two mature adults. Where were the alleged victims parents when this happened? Why weren't they taken into custody for not being responsible parents? I know that if I do something to endanger the welfare of my child I will be reprimanded. Where are the witnesses? What kind of case can you build on speculation and hearsay? Where is the person who made the accusation? Why have we not heard from them within the media and press to clarify exactly what happened? When you falsely accuse someone of a crime it not only hurts them, but it hurts those around them. Their family, business, friends, etc. If I believed that this was actually a case of precedence I would humbly say that my opinion would be totally different, but this case has more judicial injustice written all over it. The very detective who initiated these allegations is being investigated as we speak. I understand that your "opinion" is yours, but in this case I must say that justice needs to be served fair. I have personally encountered a sexual predator or two in my lifetime, and even having known them personally I would expect certain behavior from them normally. I would commend officers for doing their job to catch them when they have violated the law and especially violated another human being. In this particular case there are prejudices and personal grudges that are affecting what is said and done. If the case was so open and shut why is it that it has not not been closed yet? Why has there been such a long arduous process and still no conviction? Do your homework and get a CLUE. I know what I know, now unless you were there and can clarify what went on you cannot tell me what I would do if in that situation. Thanks for your opinion though. Let me no if you have any more. Am I mistaken? They don't have to do a rape kit on a minor that isn't accusing him of rape.....How about DNA on one of the minors child.
