Why is it legal for the state to appoint one of their own attorneys to defend the public? How s this not a conflict of interest? On this forum I would like anyone who responds to feel free to put down any attorneys name Public defender, Special Public Defenders or REAL attorneys that have "thrown you under the bus" instead of Defending you. I'll start with the two that did this to me and their names are Mark Buebendorf and Rodvald Jones. If these clowns are assigned to defend you run the other way. These two as well as most PD's work for the state not the public. Again feel free to add attorneys names, the public has the right to know what these attorney's are doing.

The criminal justice system is a joke it's all who you know and the problem is that if someone in the system doesn't like you regardless of who you know unless you are a very powerful person for example like a Bill Gates or a Warren Buffet kind of figure your getting sent up the river to the nearest prison yard.
The cops and the prosecutor's are the biggest crookest people around.

The cops and the prosecutor's are the biggest crookest people around. I definitely agree with you but what can we do to expose this charade? I am a victim of this mess. I just spent a year in jail all based on a crime I didn't commit and as I was trying to prove my innocence the police just kept finding more and more things to charge me with until it came to me being convicted as a felon and serving a year of my life in jail. When you do not have money you basically have to defend yourself and in that process is how I committed a "crime" that got me this sentence. Connecticut justice knows you have limited options and they take advantage of that with giving you a Public Pretender, Oops, I mean public Defender, who's goal is to get you jail time, and that is how a number of innocent people end up in jail. This needs to be exposed and I have nominated myself to get the ball rolling. But I agree this system definitely is a joke. I'd like to start a fund for poor people when it comes to representation in court and if anyone is interested you can leave your e-mail address and I will definitely get back yo you. The PD's office needs to be extinct.
