Rather than stop selling them. Retailers should be required to post a recap of which scratch offs have which "grand" prizes. To be fair to the retailers, Monthly is fair. Retailers could eat the cost of printing 1 or 2 pages off the internet 12x a year. This way, the lottery commission isn't paying to print, and mail these to the retailers.

Exactly..... Whats the problem?
Take the scratch off game " Holiday Lucky Times" for instance, the grand prize is LONG gone, however there are 6 remaining prizes of $1,000 each. So whats the problem? Most Lottery retailers have this handout avalible if you ask for it. And if you dont want to bother with that. Have some common sense and ask the clerk " What are the newest games?" Duh...it aint that hard. Corzine is horrible I agree but lets pick our battles a little more wisely eh?

Wally, please re read the story then comment . what there talking about is that they are still selling scratch off tickets in which "THE TOP PRIZE" is gone However MANY other prizes remain for that particular game AND your chances of winning them are far greater than winning the grand prize anyhow,

The NJ Lottery does have a web site that list's how many of the top prizes MAY still be available for each game in the state..But, if someone has a winning ticket and does not cash it in right away, for tax purposes or whatever reason; then that prize still shows up as being available when it's long gone..Should come up with a way to fix that. As far as Corzine goes..How did he get into office!? Oh you elected him. Go republican for a change and I bet things get better in this state.

Is it true that once the store clerk keys in the wrong numbers your stuck with them? I sure found out the hard way I played $15 dollars worth of megga millions in The Garden State news stand in Bayonne and the woman accidently played the same numbers twice and told me she couldnt erase them because she already put them in the machine. What's the fact on this? Never went in the store again.

NO, that means THEY are stuck with them...unless you care to buy them, simply walk out of the store, you have'nt stolen anything.

I just finished looking at the winners posted on the lottery web site, and just as I suspected, rarely is there a winner in Gloucester County. Almost all winning tickets are sold in the northern part of the state. What about South Jersey?? I honestly believe the entire program is so corrupt. Why don't we boycott buying the tickets and maybe the powers in control would make some changes in the consumers favor.
