Judge it!
There is a couple, a blonde man and woman, who stand either on the offramp of the 215 freeway at the Newport exit, or at the Shell station on the corner of Newport & Antelope. They hold out a gas can like they're out of gas, but when you give them money they pocket it, don't get gas and keep standing out there asking for more.
Just to be sure I gave them a $20.00 bill which is surely enough to get them where they'd need to go, and when I came back around there they were with their gas can! I've seen them out there with the same ploy numerous times, so I thought I'd warn you all not to fall for the scam.

Their new spot is in the parking lot of ralphs off of newport and atelope. They have been there for a few days with their sign. Watch out folks....scammers every where. What has the world come too?
