This guy sounds like a real pervert.Looking at dirty pictures is bad enough,let's hope he didn't act upon these disgusting urges too.

It is pretty well known that other prison inmates hates pedophiles and they usually beat pedophiles to a bloody pulp. Lets hope his fellow inmates beat him to the ground when he goes to prison. Only 10 years? Pedophiles deserve life.

Actually, having worked in prisons, while inmates may "hate" pedophiles, no one is willing to lose their priviledges or more importantly their good time assualting one. It's a nice urban myth to keep armchair judges like you pacified. Truth is, gang members suffer the most violant assaults in prisons.

It's one count and he's a decorated cop. He plead guilty so there's probably a deal on the table. If he get's sentence to more than 1 1/3 to 3 years I'll be surprised.

While I don't condone what he did, I find it crazy that we give him 10 years for looking at dirty pictures while guys that actually rape toddlers around here get less than 2 years in prison.

It's about as crazy as giving a real murderer 2 years in prison but locking up someone who watches real death scenes and beheadings 10 years in prison because it supports murders and may cause him to kill people.

I know too many people that got set up by their spouses or coworkers this way and are sitting in prison for longer than actual child rapists.

I figure the Sentence is higher because the feds were involved, but when are we going to sentence real child rapists to the same lengthy terms as people possessing porn?

It is sad that I have to state that I don't condone such an act as looking at pornography in order to give an objective opionion.

In one state, a man can be convicted as a sex offender and have to register as one anywhere he goes.

Althou pediphiles prey on children, so does society prey on people who are construed or misconstrued as pediphile.

If I was to say that I'm against any sort of prison time for getting caught looking at child pronography, then I would be tarred and feathered also.
